Vacation Rental Description

Valletta G-House is a historic private house of British art director Gattaldo. Voted one of the 5 best Valentines' Escapes by British newspaper The Guardian's travel section, this sumptuous house complete with glamorous double bedroom will be a memorable part of your travel to Europe.

Valletta G-House has a large double bedroom with reading area where you can relax with a book from the house's library or listen to music. The lounge/TV room is at ground level and the kitchen/dining room is in an atmospheric level complete with stone arches.

A quick look at the Valletta G-House site will give you more information and pictures, not only of the house but of the walled city of Valletta.

"You'll need to book early to snare time at this place" says Lonely Planet guide as availability is snatched months ahead.

Area Description

The walled city of Valletta was built by the Knights of St John in the 16th century in a grid like street structure. It's Baroque buildings reflect the power of the Order of St John in those times. Malta was handed to the Order by the King of Spain as a base for their increasingly military role in Christian Europe.

With theatres, Auberges, museums, lavishly decorated churches, quality restaurants all within walking distance, Valletta G-House is an excellent base for your holiday in Malta.
