Extra roll away beds available upon request. There are 3 TVs with premium channels HBO, Showtime & wireless Internet WIFI, everything for a wonderful vacation in LA.

Impressed by the Comfort/Quality of This House - 5 of 5 Stayed: May 2013

We spent three days at this lovely house. The house is very clean; the beds are firm and very comfortable; the high-end pots/pans are the ones I wish to have at my home; the large backyard deck is covered with new carpet; and the big orange tree is loaded with oranges (we ate so many of them)!

The owner, Paul, was very helpful upon our arrival. He gave us large and detailed maps of the area and showed us most of the things we needed to know about LA. We had a memorable vacation and would love to come back someday! Thank You Paul!

Just a few blocks from the Metro rail station, 1st stop Universal City, 2nd stop Hollywood, (Hollywood Blvd "Walk of Fame", the new Hollywood and Highland complex, Kodak Theater, home of the Oscars, and the famous Graumann's Chinese Theater where you can stand in the footprints of your favorite movie stars etc).
We are located 2 blocks from the Ventura and 101 freeway, and 1 block walk to the local supermarket and Starbucks. Lots of great local restaurants on Ventura Blvd just a short walk away.
A short 10 minutes drive over Laurel Canyon crossing Mulholland Drive will take you down into West Hollywood and trendy Melrose Ave, and just a little further to chic Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive. hm9174538

We gathered my extended family here for a long weekend from as far away as Hawaii. We picked this property because it was convenient to a family wedding as well as the BUR and LAX airports. The HA listing is accurate, but understates how good the property is. We expected a 1940's style bungalow in a good location. It is that, but it has been upgraded and modernized without losing its charm. Everything was spotlessly clean, the paint is fresh, everything worked, and the owner has attended to a hundred details which made this not your typical rental unit. The decor is tastefully modern yet retains period furniture and hardwood floors. We could all gather for dinner on the patio, yet there are lots of little nooks and patios where one could find privacy. Wi-fi, TV, and the LA freeway system kept us connected to the world, but we were happy just to be here. The kitchen is truly equipped for the skilled chef, including a commercial stove and a wine refrigerator! The air conditioning was welcome in the hot late summer days, but we particularly liked being able to open the windows to let in the cool night air. The location really is ideal. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet shops and restaurants are within walking distance, and the freeway is convenient but not too close. While here, we enjoyed the Angeles Crest Highway, the Getty Center, the Malibu wineries, and the Griffith Observatory when we were not visiting the local relatives. The owner, Paul, seems to look after every detail personally. he was available but not obtrusive. We could have spent the time in 4 little boxes in a hotel. Instead, we really felt at home away from home and had a wonderful family visit. Thank you, Paul and Daisy.

This house is in really good shape and the neighborhood is great! We rented the house. It was the perfect amount of space and provided the perfect mix of family bonding and privacy. This is a lot of house for the money and the owner is SO accommodating! My brother picked up the keys and described him as "potentially the nicest guy I have ever met". I highly recommend the main house!

We had a 3 nights stay in the main house. The first contact with Paul, the owner, was by mail before our trip. He was very helpful with information and tips. We knew even before we left that we had chosen the right place. Paul was there to meet us at the house and showed us around. Very pleasant person and he did everything possible to make us feel at home.

We loved the neighbourhood which had, for us Europeans, a typical American feel to it.: beautiful tree lined street, big lawns in front of the pretty houses. A cosy laid back atmosphere greeted us as soon as we drove down the street. The house is perfectly funtional and very comfortable. We especially loved the large covered terrace for our breakfasts and dinners outside. The barbecue was used on two evenings. The garden is very lush with a huge orange tree supporting ripe fruit. This beautiful spot enhanced by the lighting at night made for a very special atmosphere in the jacuzzi. Wonderful! The top points for us were: location => near to many of the film studios, pretty neighbourhood, and easy acces to other L.A attractions // we felt like an American family in an American house for three days (instead of just staying in a hotel) // barbecue and garden // well equiped and comfortable house // great hosts very helpful and kind. Negative points: a few planes flying over. But this was not disturbing for us. We would choose this house again for future trips and recommend to friends. Thanks so much for this great experience.

We stayed there for a couple of weeks in February; it's the third time that our acting group rent the house and once I'm back in L.A. I'll be renting it again for sure.

The house is just awesome: big, clean, beautifully furnitured, lovely neighbours, near to Studio City, supermarkets and whatever you could need. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the garden, the barbecue! Paul was great and when we got there he spend a lot of time explaining us everything about the house, he and his wife are super! I'll be back for sure and I advise it very strongly. Thank you for making our stay so perfect!
