Waitts Lake is a 455 acre lake which has abundant Rainbows, Browns, Perch, and Large moth Bass. Ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow skiing at 49 Degrees North, fishing and hunting are all available during the winter months. There are several great restaurants in near by Chewelah including the Casino. Chewelah offers a beautiful park for children to play and run at. Waitts Lake has something for everyone all year around.
