Area Information

We are located in the middle of Venice Beach, one half block from the sand on a quiet "Walk Street". The famous Venice Boardwalk is a two minute walk from your front door. Santa Monica Main Street and Abbot Kinney Blvd, the new Melrose, are minutes away. The Venice canals are a ten minute walk from here. We are in the middle of the Venice Beach "scene", near the beach sports, resturants and coffee bars that make Venice so famous. Public Transportation is close bye and will get you all over the West Side.

Good for the money

Very close to the beach and very friendly property owners. Size is good for four. Lots of homeless inhabitants in the neighborhood.

Owner's reply:

The homeless people in the area, about the same number as any urban setting, are on the Boardwalk during the day, not on our walk streets; and new regulations require them to leave the area altogether at night.

2 months on the beach!

We loved the apt so much that we rented it again for 8 weeks next winter! Although small, it is very comfortable for 2 people. Although 1.5 blocks from the boardwalk and the daily festival that is Venice Beach, the apartment was wonderfully quiet. Close to coffee shops, restaurants and markets. Buses to all parts of the city, and parking rental available. Lastly, Rhoda and Bill are wonderful landlords. Fully recommend the apartment.

A wonderful Holliday!

We had an amazing time, in Rhoda and Bills cosy apartment, close to the beach! Its a really nice neighborhood, if your into the bohemian life style, which my husband and I am! They will fix what ever is not completely in order, and the same day, without a question! These 2 people are the sweetest ever! You will have an amazing time in their apartment! We would not hesitate about coming back. And hope to see them again! :-) The only "downside" is, if you care about your cellphones signal, - There isn't that much of a signal in the apartment, but you then step outside, and then its fine! 2010 Vacation

I would like to thank Bill and Rhoda for being such great hosts your apartment was beautiful and as I said before we will defenitly be considering a returning trip next year!! We had such a wonderful time this apartment is located next to everything and a short drive to any place in LA!! The Bed was so comfortable and the linens were beautiful the apartment was perfect for my family of four whats better than walking to the beach everynight and watching the sunset!! We felt very at home and have no complaints about this apartment!! Thank you again Bill And Rhoda your apartment was great!! Already planning our next trip to your great apartment!!

Nice and clean place, it had everything that we need.Close to the beach, so we could go any time.The owners very flexible, and kind.The only problem the parking on the weekends, but we'd like to come back.
