This spacious architectural home, designed by noted architect, John Porter, is the ultimate Venice hideaway. It's located on a quiet one-way street, in one of the best areas in Los Angeles, California. The famous Abbot Kinney is just steps away. Stop by the French Market Cafe for coffee and croissants, then stroll 15-20 minutes through the scenic canals to the beach! With vaulted wood ceilings and plenty of skylights, it's bright and airy, totally relaxing...

The house has a fully equipped kitchen that opens to a private deck, perfect for al fresco dining. The tropical garden is a tranquil setting, great for a picnic or sitting by the fire pit BBQ.

You can rent either one, two or three bedrooms in the home and/or the guesthouse.

THE MAIN RESIDENCE

This includes the spacious open living space with vaulted ceilings,
skylights, kitchen, balcony, fireplace, dining deck, living, dining areas. There
are 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms; two with queen beds and one with two
twins that can be put together to form a king. Sleeps up to 11 guests.

TWO BEDROOMS IN THE HOME

This option includes the skylit open living space with kitchen,
balcony, dining deck, fireplace, living, and dining areas. There is 1 bathroom
and 2 bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two twins that can
be put together to form a king. Sleeps up to 9 guests.

TROPICAL GARDEN ROOM

The master bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the home and
rented separately. It has a private entrance and a patio facing the
tropical garden with firepit and teak table under the orange tree. There's
a full bath, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a queen bed.
It sleeps 2 guests.

THE GUESTHOUSE LOFT

This is a separate grand open living space with vaulted ceilings,
draped skylights, a mini kitchen, a 32" plasma TV, and another plasma TV
in the bedroom area. It used to be an art studio; it's the real Venice... paint splattered floors contrast with modern furnishings! There's a new bathroom with a shower; a queen bed and a modular couch that be put together to sleep more: 2 kids or 1 or 2 adults.

All bedrooms have TVs, wireless internet, and cable. All linens and
towels, beach towels and taxes are included. There's plenty of street
parking and there's an additional parking space available in the
alley.

NEARBY ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS:

Just minutes away you'll find the world-famous Venice Beach Boardwalk on the beach! On Abbot Kinney Blvd. you'll find specialty shops, excellent restaurants and trendy art galleries. Just north in Santa Monica, Main Street is fun; there's the Farmer's Market, the Santa Monica Pier and Amusement Park, and the hip Third Street Promenade with shops, restaurants and movies. Just south in Marina del Rey you can take a cruise, enjoy water-side dining, and take the Flyer over to Santa Catalina Island.

It's close to everything: the canals, shopping, the Venice Boardwalk and the white sandy beach,where you'll find volleyball, biking, basketball and just about every outdoor activity, including the famous Muscle Beach. Or, head to the water for swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, shelling and deep-sea fishing. Only 5.5 miles from LAX airport.
