Description of the Venice vacation condo rental

Beautiful first floor condo in the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice Florida over looking ninth green of the Bobcat course We are directly across from the heated pool and bbq grills, making barbecuing very easy. Everything you could think of is there for your convenience. Beach chairs, towels, coolers and even bikes, are all waiting for you.
We just purchased on April 23,2013 a king size temperpedic mattress and beautiful sleigh bed. Along with 2 chairs for the living room. All I can say is "AWESOME"!!!

Area Information

The condominium is located 20 mins from Sarasota Intl Airport and one hour from Tampa or Fort Myers' Intl Airports. You are also minutes from the most gorgeous beaches in the US. 5 mins from Manasota,Venice and Caspersen's beach. 20 minutes south of Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota which was voted the best beach in the country by the History Channel. An absolute must see. Surrounding you are 20-30 beautiful golf courses. All are well kept and affordable.
The Plantation is a protected bird sanctuary and is home to just about every exotic bird on the east coast. You WILL find a bald eagle's nest just outside your bedroom lanai. Ospreys and Sandhill Cranes are in the nesting in the palm tree's as well. Alligators too!
You are in very close to all the shopping and restaurants you could imagine. Please have a drink on us at Sharkey's tiki bar and fishing pier.

Just perfect!

My husband & I just returned. Everything about this condo was great. Beautifully furnished, totally clean from top to bottom and everything you need is available to you. The grounds are beautifully maintained, great heated pool in case you don't feel like going to the beach. Short distance to all local beaches including Siesta Keys, my very favorite. Down town Venice offers many great restaurants & the shopping is unlimited. Terry & Mark made the entire process of renting very easy and I'd have to say, they were a pleasure to deal with. We cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic Location

This is our 5th year at this condo, our home away from home. Community pool and library steps away from unit. Several great beaches 10 minutes. away. Many cultural events on Venice Island and Sarasota, a 20 minute drive. The Plantation is a well landscaped property. The views from the Lanai of unit are gorgeous Condo tastefully furnished and easy to maintain.Great restaurants and shopping close by. Our hosts have thought of everything you might need for a fun in the sun vacation. Just bring your clothes.

A Great Escape

I stayed in Terri's condo last summer. From the moment I opened the door, I felt at home. The floor plan makes for maximum privacy and yet easy movement to the living and dining areas.Terri has created a perfect home away from home atmosphere. The condo is so well designed that everything you need is at your fingertips.The complementary color scheme enhances a feeling of comfort. As you move from room to room, you see Terri's attention to detail and maximum comfort. The earth and sky tones used for the interior decor incorporate the vibrancy of the Florida outdoors. The screened-in porch is a treasure too. Early in the morning, I'd drink my coffee there and journal. The backyard abuts a golf course and a bird sanctuary. I got some great photographs of protected birds. There are miles of paths that connect the condos so if you like to walk or bike, as I do, you have beautiful sights along your way. My sister, a Florida native, visited for the weekend and was ready to move into to the condo. We enjoyed the shopping, restaurants, beautiful beaches and ambience that we found. Most of all, I found Terri's condo a soothing and restful retreat. I came to complete work, visit beaches and just relax. I had a wonderful time and the week sped by so fast I couldn't believe it.

This is a beautiful place to stay while you visit Venice! This condo is kept in pristine condition and has all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable! The pool across the way is convenient and kept very clean and you can bar-b-que also! Close to shopping and just a short drive to beautiful beaches! I came back rested and renewed! Can't wait to return!

A little piece of paradise! Condo is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Close to everything in Venice, beaches and area attractions. The pool and gas grill are steps away. Convenient parking right outside the front of the unit. The rear of the unit overlooks the beautiful golf course. The perfect place to get away from it all!
