Description of the Venice vacation condo rental
Venice is a beautiful town and the condo is housed in a historic building, The KMI Building. There is a mall on the first floor, condos on second and third floor of a secured building. The grounds of the building offer a lovely garden area, ample parking, and an easy walk to eateries, shops , library, and the town theater. A wonderful place to relax and unwind, and a great secluded pool area.
The island of Venice is a wonderful area and the walk to the beach is relaxing and peaceful as you walk through the area of beautiful trees , oaks, banyans and palm trees. The walk to the beach is less than 1/2 mile and a short 3 minute drive. Venice is also a great place to ride a bike as the streets have sidewalk areas for your use .
The Island also hosts a Farmer's market each Saturday, which is directly across the street from the KMI Building and is rich in food items, vegetables, baked goods, and items from local vendors! Also across the street is a lovely park with live music.

Also enjoy Venice Beach, Caspersen Beach and Park and our famous Venice Jetty! All offer a wonderful place to view the awesome Florida Sunsets.

There is also nearby activity that includes boat rentals, chartered fishing, snorkeling and diving.

Area Information
Is in downtown area, but the building is quiet, secure and close to all you need to enjoy your time. The public beach is about 1/2 mile away and Siesta Keys about a 20 minute drive. There are numerous golf courses in and around Venice (last count was 18), boating, several fishing piers with chartered fishing available. The City of Tampa is about 60 miles north of Venice and offers a lot to do including their own historic area. Disney is about 2.5 to 3 hours away and most is highway travel to get there. There are bike and motor bike rental available in town and a bike rack available in the condo lot.
