Description of the Venice vacation home rental

Venice 2bd/2ba/1cg Pool Home. Fenced Yard, located steps from the Intracoastal and Venetian Waterway Park (VWP). You can bike the VWP to the beach without crossing a road (2 miles to Caspersen Beach). On the way to the beach you may see eagles, ospreys, dolphins, manatees, gopher tortoises and many more wildlife photograph opportunities. Once you are at the beach don't forget to collect the prehistoric sharks teeth for which Venice Beaches are famous. Or, just grab a book and relax on the golden beaches of Venice. You can fish the Intracoastal Waterway or just watch the power and sailboats go by.

Area Description

Venice is located on the Gulf of Mexico in SW Florida about 75 miles south of Tampa and 20 miles south of Sarasota.

Venice Jetty: Why not go watch the dolphins and the boats as you catch the fish of the day' After all, that is what paradise is all about. On a windy day you will be lucky enough to see the surfers.

Golfing: If golfing is your thing, you came to the right spot. There are 13 golf courses within a ten mile radius of your rental.

Fishing: Either fishing on your own or charting a boat you will be thrilled with your catch.

Shopping: Take some time to stroll downtown and shop all the unique boutiques and stores Venice Mainstreet has to offer. You will find one of a kind items here.

After a day at the beach you will not want to miss out on a sunset dinner and cocktails at Sharky's Restaurant on the beach. A lovely stroll on the pier will top off the evening. Sharky's and the city pier provide magnificent sunsets.
