Description of the Venice vacation home rental

Lots of room in our 1800+ sft home with heated pool and spillover spa. Situated on 4 lots in a quiet neighborhood. Room to park an RV or boat. Lush, tropical landscaping. Large oak trees, butterfly/hummingbird garden. Private yard. Open split floor plan. 370 sft Master Suite with private bath opens to the lanai. Master bath is marble from floor to ceiling, granite countertop with double sinks and sit at makeup area. Glass enclosed granite shower. Huge walk in closet.

2 guest rooms with a queen bed in one and twin beds in the other. Both guest rooms have walk in closets. Queen guest room opens to the lanai.

TV is provided in all bedrooms!

2 roll away beds and 2 portable cribs available by request.

Porcelain tile throughout. Kitchen features imported Brazilian hardwood cabinets, architectural style. Stainless steel appliances, under counter lighting, granite countertops and walk in pantry. Pass through window to the lanai.

Dining room sits 6 comfortably and opens to the lanai.
600 sft lanai is open and steps down to the 30 X 40 pool deck. These 2 areas are only separated by built in planters with live plants.

No cost private beach access via the ferry. Ferry landing is only a 4 minute drive from our home. It runs to and from the beach every hour. Great shelling and an abundance of prehistoric sharks teeth. Private boat ramp at ferry site, so bring your boat!

Historic Venice Island is a 5-7 minute drive. Browse in the many antique and unique gift shops. Children can play in the water fountain park. There are several beaches in Venice including a dog park.

Convenient access to theme parks. Busch Gardens 1.5 hrs, Disney, Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure and Sea World 2.5 hrs. Ringling Art Museum and Ringling home 30 minutes. Mote Marine 30 minutes.

What a wonderful home. We rented across Christmas this past December 2007 for 8 days. There were eight of us that included my Children and Grandchildren. The home was furnished with everything you could ask for. The Children enjoyed the pool and the adults took advantage of the hot tub. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood and easy access to the beaches and restuarnts. I would highly recommend to any family or small group. Very comfortable and large patio.

The pictures for this home do not do it justice. The house is absolutely amazing. The lanai area is truly huge. We spent about 90% of the weekend outside on the lanai. The pool was large enough for several of us to splash around without feeling crowded. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and we couldn't have been more pleased with the home for our weekend getaway.
