Beautiful home on quiet street in Venice Florida. Gulf beaches are 10 minutes away. Activities that include beachcombing, diving, snorkeling, sunbathing, fishing, golfing, tennis are prime examples of leisure time well spent! Siesta Key is a 20 minute drive, and one of the top ten beaches in the country. Amazing water and the sand never gets hot!!!

Close to the Historic District of Venice, antique shops, fine restaurants and live theatre are well within reach. Close to Myakka River State Park with its wonderful biking trails.

The house has simple quiet pleasures, and has been newly redecorated. Very Clean! Get away from the frantic stress of everyday life; come to Venice, eat at the fabulous restaurants on the water, meet wonderful people, breath fresh air!

Area Description

Venice is near Sarasota. Available airports are Tampa, Ft. Myers and Sarasota, Sarasota being the closest- Jet Blue has direct non-stop flights into Sarasota. Rent a car from Manny at Budget for a reasonable price.
Venice is a well kept secret. Theatre, Golf, Golf,Golf, Tennis, beautiful beaches, Siesta Key 20 minutes away, Venice Beach 10 minutes at most by car. There are two dog beaches!!! Restaurants, The Ringling Museum (absolutely fantastic), fishing WOW, surfing, beachcombing for shark's teeth, it's all here. Too much to mention, but we've left a book of activities in the cottage.

Orlando and Disney are 2.5 hours away, Adventure World in Tampa is about an hour away.
