Description of the Venice vacation home rental

Located on the island Venice and only 3 blocks to the town and beach, the Harbor Paradise Home is a roomy 4 bedroom house that sleeps 14 and has a heated pool.

Relax in your own private heated pool surrounded by tropical gardens. Walk 3 blocks to the beach and watch the sunset. Walk 3 short blocks to downtown Venice and enjoy a cup of coffee while strolling through art stores and boutiques.

Our Venice Florida Paradise beach house rental is located on the island of Venice Beach Florida and surrounded by gardens and a heated pool. It is a very spacious Florida vacation rental house and has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

Plus, it has a huge spacious living room, a large dining room/family room area and an outdoor screened in sitting area (lanai) with a beautiful pool. Also, it features central air conditioning and has a washer dryer plus a gorgeous back yard filled with trees and flowers.

Our Harbor Paradise Home vacation beach house is a very roomy vacation home. The master suite is huge and has 2 queen beds and 1 queen sofa bed (sleeps 6). The second bedroom has a king size bed (sleeps 2) and nice new furniture including dressers. The third bedroom has a queen bed (sleeps 2) and also new furniture. Our fourth bedroom has 2 twin beds (sleeps 2) that are also brand new dressers. Plus, our family room contains 1 sleeper bed (sleeps 2). Plus, all bedrooms have good sized closets and all 3 bathrooms are full sized and have showers. One also has a bath tub/shower combination. The other is handicapped accessible.

Our home is fully loaded with brand new living room furniture with a very nice couch, cable TV, kitchen appliances (including dishwasher and disposal) and an outdoor screened in patio with comfy furniture including a couch and lounge chairs. We even have a desk for those who wish to bring a computer. Plus, the back yard is filled with trees and flowers and is much more private than a vacation condo or apartment.

We also have a washer and dryer and central air conditioning. Plus, of course electric heat for the rare nights in winter when the temperature falls.

Our Venice Florida rental beach house is also a 5 minute walk to the beach in Venice and a few minutes walk to downtown Venice. It is also only a 15 minute walk on the beach to the Venice Pier and Sharky's where you can enjoy live music at night and watch the sunset.

Venice Florida is actually a small island surrounded by breathtaking bays and is perfect for those looking for a vacation of low key sailing, kayaking or boating. In addition, Venice has several wonderful beaches the best of which include Casperson Park, Nokomis Beach and Brohard Park which includes the popular Venice pier.

Venice Florida is known for its pristine white beaches and the prehistoric sharks teeth that can be found here.

Venice Beach Florida itself has a population of only about 18,600 people in the summer and about 24,000 people in the winter.

Venice Florida was founded by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers in 1926. The BLE hired renowned city planner, John Nolan, to plan the city of Venice. A famous landscape architect, Prentiss French, was also appointed to create the lovely open spaces in the city.

The northern Italian Renaissance architectural theme was chosen and a town of grace and beauty began to grow along the golden sands and blue-green waters.

Today, the city of Venice Florida has many fine amenities, including a yacht club, community center, community theater and professional dinner theater, an art center, library and many fine restaurants.

It is just a wonderful location. Close to Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida. One and a half hours from Walt Disney World Florida, Sea World Florida, and Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. Also near Florida beaches including Venice beaches, Brandenton Florida beach, Englewood Beach Florida, Laurel Florida, Siesta Key Florida beaches, Casey Key Florida beach and Sarasota Florida beaches.

Activities nearby include beach, golf, swimming, boat and jet ski rental, para sailing, and fishing from the Venice Florida pier. Other close activities include baseball, bowling, more golf, putt-putt golf, tennis, movies, museums, shopping malls, library, etc.

One great seafood restaurant (Sharkey's) is only a short drive away. Sharkey's is next to the Venice Florida pier and is great for watching the sunset and hearing live guitar music. It is really fun. Also, the home is walking distance to the cute Venice Airport (small airplanes only). There is a very fun restaurant called the Aerosquadron restaurant.

Down town Venice has great specialty shops, fabulous seafood restaurants and a great community theatre.

Sarasota Florida is only 15 minutes away by car. Nearby restaurants include Outback, Carrabba's, Bonefish and lots more.

We stayed in this house for a week in mid October and had a wonderful time. There were 9 or us and we had plenty of room. The house and pool are very nice. The only correction I would like to make is that the walk to the beach is longer than 5 minutes especially with children. The custodian, Dennis, is very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at this home. It was clean- the pool was great for the kids and the house layout functioned well for our big group. Because of the multiple sliding glass doors, we were able to keep things open and welcoming during the day and closed some to allow adults to talk and play cards and the kids to watch a movie all in the same general area. The were bathrooms all over the place and the kitchen functioned very well. Location was great for walking downtown to the shops, park and restraunts and you could walk or a very short ride to the beach. Our only negative would be the light switches were very difficult to understand and was on were still dim inside the house.
