Description of the Venice vacation home rental

Walk to downtown Venice in less than five minutes - it’s only two blocks away. For any other requirements you might have of a perfect beach house, find them easily met at 328 Bayshore Drive. An elegant 4 bedroom house that sleeps up to 12, packed with Mediterranean flair. The private heated pool is reason enough to book the home for months on end.

The gleaming pool and decking is kept in pristine condition. Immaculate pool tile and surrounding patio are a ready-made Vacation HQ, no matter the age and makeup of your group. Wide steps allow for easy entry and the pool furniture and sun beds are generously appointed. The screened lanai is surrounded by lush vegetation and tall trees, providing unrivalled privacy.

Indoors, natural sunlight pours nonstop through large windows, warming the home’s terra-cotta and ocean blue accents. Terrazzo tile was made for this kind of property - casual elegance for happy feet with a great tan. The neutral color scheme suits all tastes. Most rooms boast cream walls with classic white trim.

The living room’s large tile fireplace is an enticing feature in front of massive, comfy blue sofa and arm chair. A corner TV and wireless Internet, plus any board games you bring from home, equate to hours of memorable family time. Prepare your morning coffee in the fully equipped kitchen and step outside to enjoy the breeze from Roberts Bay.

Ten guests will sleep comfortably in the home’s four spacious bedrooms, while numbers eleven and twelve have a high-end sleeper sofa to call their own. Bedrooms are configured to suit all sorts of groups: a king bed (master bed), queen bed (bedroom two), two twin beds (bedroom three) are great for two families traveling together. You can keep your mother-in-law at bay in her own private suite, which has a private entrance and two queen beds.

Your group can come and go as they please from this ideally located property, perhaps dividing into adventure aficionados and window shopping teams, before regrouping for sunset cocktails on the back deck.

This wonderful home is only a 2 blocks walk to the charming town of Venice filled with coffee shops, wine bars, art stores, antique shops and fine restaurants. And, our house is also only a 6 block walk along the tree lined Venice Avenue to the beach. Plus, we've just added high speed Internet for guests who bring their laptop.

Or, walk to the Venice Pier and Sharky's Restaurant to enjoy the sunset, or enjoy a morning walk of approximately twenty blocks. In and around the beach area, you’ll find many water-sports and tour operators, as well as famous Sharky’s restaurant. At night it comes to life as the city’s favorite live music venue. If traveling with pets, treat them to a day at Brohard Paw Park and they’ll wag tails in gratitude.

Family stay,wedding,vacation

The house did fit the needs for the family stay, room for all family members to sleep, location was a good plus, close to our family wedding on kasey key island, close to the shops, and the beach, real easy to get around, pool was a hit for all the whole family got involved, the down fall for the stay was that the home seem outdated and the pictures that display the home was misleading,but all in all was a good stay, not saying that I will not use your services again, but be more through and cautious with my next choice. Relaxing Vacation

The house was clean and the location was near the downtown area. The shops close early, but there a good number of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening. I recommend taking the short drive to Sharkey's. The house is a little dated, but it was in great shape and we enjoyed have the pool. Overall, we had a great vacation and found the area an excellent location to relax.

We stayed in this house for a week in mid October and had a wonderful time. There were 9 or us and we had plenty of room. The house and pool are very nice. The only correction I would like to make is that the walk to the beach is longer than 5 minutes especially with children. The custodian, Dennis, is very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Very Nice Stay

We were extremely pleased with our stay at this home. It was clean- the pool was great for the kids and the house layout functioned well for our big group. Because of the multiple sliding glass doors, we were able to keep things open and welcoming during the day and closed some to allow adults to talk and play cards and the kids to watch a movie all in the same general area. The were bathrooms all over the place and the kitchen functioned very well. Location was great for walking downtown to the shops, park and restraunts and you could walk or a very short ride to the beach. Our only negative would be the light switches were very difficult to understand and was on were still dim inside the house.
