Venice Florida is located 15 miles south of Sarasota Florida and 70 miles south of Tampa. Activities nearby include, Beach, Boat & Jet-ski Rental, Hiking & Fishing. Other close activities include: Baseball, Bowling, Putt-Putt Golf, Movies, Shopping Malls, Library, etc. Venice also has Great Craft & Specialty Shops, Fabulous Seafood Restaurants & a Great Venice Community Theatre. It is close to Busch Gardens in Tampa Florida, 2 hours from Walt Disney World Florida, Sea World Florida, and Universal Studios in Orlando. The beach is 1 mile away- Blue Wave Beach famous for findings of shark teeth Venice is ‘shark teeth capital of the world’.
