Excellent location west of Tamiami trail and a few short blocks to Shamrock Park with tennis and basketball courts,playground, nature center, butterfly garden and trails for walks, runs and bikes along the intercoastal waterway or just watch the boats go by. The trails go to the legacy trail and lead to Sarasota. Only a couple miles to the a bridge to Venice island with quant shops, theather, weekly farmers market, many stores and restaurants or enjoy several beaches with stunning views. If you dont take the bridge to the island you will find several more stores and restaurants up and down the Tamiami Trail (road also known as 41). Within about a 20 minute drive you can be exploring the south part of Sarasota with a mall or Siesta Key and a few minutes more you can be in downtown Sarasota.
