The building, realized by the Venetian nobleman Badoer, who in 1225 rebuilt the Church of San Giacomo dall'orio, from which the homonymous square is just a few steps away.

The architect Gianluca Pavanato, which dealt with the radical renovation, has done a thorough job based on two basic concepts; maintain some of the ancient features like the original beams in sight, using high design finishes as the floors in precious wood furnishings of excellence and the most modern comfort. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating, washing machine and dryer, satellite television, Wi-Fi internet access, dishwasher, microwave, iron and ironing board and cot for an infant (on request).
