Faria Beach Oceanfront-A California Coast Classic!

This place is cool! And everything's new!

Situated at a prime location on Faria Beach, our family has been creating memories in this California classic beach "cabin" for over seventy years. Completely and lovingly refurbished, remodeled, and tastefully decorated to maintain its character and charm, this three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath oceanfront home also has every amenity to make your stay comfortable. Perfect for families, girls' getaways, surf, kayak, SUP vacations, romantic escapes and retreats.

From the kitchen, living room, dining area, master bedroom and expansive deck enjoy views of the Channel Islands or catch a glimpse of a pod of dolphins cruising along the surf. Great location for surfing, stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, kayaking, swimming, fishing and tidaeapooling. A few steps (or strokes) south is Mondo's cove, rated one of Southern California's best spots for beginner and longboard surfing and a favorite location for surf instructors and schools. For more advanced surfers, Pitas Point, a few steps to the north, offers more challenging rides. The coastal bike path sits just outside the front gate, and access is provided to the private community tennis court. The home is located directky in the center of the main strip of Faria. We are not adjacent to public access pathways or near areas where there is a high volume of beach goer parking.

Sleeps 8. Master has queen bed with bath en-suite. Second bedroom has two twins with a half bath en-suite. Cow-a-"Bunk"-a room has two sets of bunks (4 twins). These are sturdy custom bunks with custom mattresses which can comfortably accomodate adults. This room is adjacent to a bath with double vanities.

The community of Faria Beach is a private beach located at the center of a seven mile stretch of old Pacific Coast Highway on the Rincon, gateway to the Central Coast. Changing sand levels and tides, along with the seasons create a dynamic beach scape. High tides can be thrilling, while low tides reveal sandbars and tide pools waiting to be explored. A five minute drive to the south is Ventura, where you'll find unique shopping, dining and entertainment in trendy old town. Foodies will love it and there is a bustling music scene! The Ventura Harbor also offers shopping and dining along with opportunities to sign up for Channel Islands, whale watching and fishing excursions. Twenty minutes to the north visit Santa Barbara and wine country, or check out the beautiful Santa Barbara zoo. The artists' enclave of Ojai is 15 minutes inland along with it's destination spa and golf resorts.
