Perfect Apartment

he City Life Suites Urban studio apartment was absolutely perfect for our holiday in Victoria BC. Travelling from London and arriving in Canada Christmas eve, we really wanted a home away from home feel, being able to make a Christmas dinner and have a relaxing Christmas was paramount. Our first impression were the apartment was super clean with fresh contemporary furnishings and the location is second to none. We were so impressed with the level of detail the owners had gone to to make our stay special and the equipment in the apartment was beyond our expectations, they really had not missed anything that we might need to make our stay comfortable. We cannot recommend the City Life Suites more! The bed was super comfy, and we had everything we needed even tupperware to take pack lunches out and about with us, which really helped budget our holiday. They made our stay perfect and even helped us secure a wonderful Whale watching tour. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The unit at City Life Astoria is a one bedroom, one bath, with a balcony and a well equipped user friendly kitchen, on the 7th. floor of a downtown modern high-rise. Bus transportation all over the Victoria area, including the Gardens, is no more than a block away and there are many places to eat, including a good grocery store within a 4 block radius. Your host/hostess provide a foldable shopping cart should you choose to buy groceries. Beacon Hill Park and free summer concerts are 2 blocks away. The inner harbor is 3 blocks away. Using the stairs at the side of the building to access the road below is a short cut to food, the park, art galleries, the harbor, and Victoria's primary museum which has a fantastic living history section and a dinosaur exhibit. In addition to the convenience to area attractions, we cannot say enough good things about Steve and Trish who own the apartment. They are available for questions, full of information when you arrive, can assist you with arrival, and are just generally good and honest people. We would heartily recommend this as your home-away-from-home in Victoria. John and Val.
