Description of the Vieques Island vacation villa rental
Our villa "Casa de la Rusa" sits in the hills above the north shore of the Caribbean island of Vieques, catching the cooling trade winds. It has three spacious bedrooms (1 king and 2 queen beds, comfortable Sealy mattresses), each with its own bathroom and air conditioning. The rest of the villa is quite spacious as well and there are great water views of the tropical Atlantic and the neighboring Spanish Virgin Island of Culebra. All the furnishings and appliances are top-shelf. The villa sleeps 3 couples very comfortably and, using the full-size futon in the living room, the villa can sleep 8. It sits on a half-acre of land, with flowering and fruit trees (mango, banana, and lemon). It is only a minute's drive to the town of Isabel Segunda.

so relaxing

our recent stay at the Casa de la Ruso was one of the most relaxing vacations we have experienced on Vieques. We felt comfortably " at home" in the well appointed spaces, especially with the privacy afforded by the three bedrooms with private baths. The beautiful tiled porch with hammock drew us outside for every waking moment when we weren't on the beaches or exploring the island. And the many roosters and hens with baby peeps were so much fun to watch. how relaxing is that? The house is furnished nicely- but we never took advantage of the TV or radio as we completely "checked out " for the time we were there. Returning to Vieques time after time we often feel like we are "coming home" and the villa made us feel especially at home this year. The breezes and the panoramic view on the front porch are delicious.
