The AC didn't work, the pool was unusable for the first week (ducks swimming and excreting in it), the dishwasher was broken, the carpet on the stairs was loose, blinds on windows broken, linens, towels and kitchen utensils missing. The AC problem was due to a storm before we arrived, but the management was unresponsive on all these items until, after many days, I finally talked to the vice president of the company, who got help for us. We should have been reimbersed for the whole 1st week, but were not. We will never go to this house again, not will we ever go to a house that uses this management company.

We spent a week in this house. We were so excited when we booked our vacation to Vilano Beach and counted down the days. When we got there the house was not as nice as the pictures made it look. We had to buy a couple of pots and a frying pan while we were there. The kitchen was not well stocked. The pool lights did not work. The hot tub did not work and had not been cleaned out in a really long time. The property is right across the road from the ocean and there is a beach access close by however is was really grown up and the dunes were extremely steep making it a real chore to come and go. Almost not worth it. I would not stay at this property again. There is nothing worst than spending that kind of money and getting there and things not being what they appeared. The Vilano Beach area was great. Not too crowded and busy. We love St. Augustine. We plan to spend a week there in 2010. Hope to find a rental this time that actually has all that it says it does and that everything works.

Houses and pool/backyard were very nice. Propane tank was out of gas. Master bed was bronken with Soup pot supporting matress. Coffee Maker was missing parts / filter. View from top deck was great. Unfortunately we had rain three days due to Alex. Family room was smaller than internet pictures. Did not realize the carriage house had a pullout sofa. Very nice full time neighbors next door. It would have been nice to get an early check in. Cleaning people did not leave until just after 4pm. Other than that a great vacation with family and freinds and we will be back to the area again.

Location of the house is great! The beach area that goes along with the houses access was quiet and nice. However the beach access itself was all grown up and very steep. The kitchen is nice but is missing somethings. We had to buy a couple of pans during our stay. The hot tub was not working and was very dirty. The pool area and hot tub was what attracted us to this house! The lights in and around the pool werent working. The living room and kitchen look spacious in the pictures but is actually really small. We would love to stay in the Vilano Beach area again but we will not rent this house again.

The home we rented through your website was a scam. We paid $2200 to learn that the one we paid was not the owner nor manager of the property. It is currently under investigation with the Missouri Attorney General's Office since that is where the bank is the money was sent to.

This is a lovely home with lots of space for a family, but it is neglected and needs some owner input. The pool is lovely and the location a few steps from the beach is very nice. But, the grounds are overgrown and the hot tub is filthy and smells. In the house the carpets are very dirty, and in the kitchen 2 burners on the stove do not work and new frying pans are needed. Also many of the light bulbs need replacing. The owners need to check their home more often to assure that it is kept up to snuff.

We enjoyed this house very much - the pool and area is beautiful and the beach access is close and easy. The house has been well used and was not very well equipped. We had to buy many necessities. Overall a great experience.

I did stay at a beach house on Vilano beach but it was an awful experience. The Air conditioning didn't work well where we stayed. Miserable week! The fridge was broken when we got there. We spent two days getting it repaired.

The house was okay. It did NOT sleep as many people as advertised--1 king bed, 1 double, 4 twins only. The AC was terrible--no blinds in the living room-very hot. No toilet paper, washing soap, etc. There was NO AC in the "loft". Also- kitchen was not equipt as stated.
