Description of the Vineyard Haven vacation condo rental

This spacious, contemporary 3BR/3bath townhouse with expansive deck, open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and central air conditioning is part of a development (60 homes on 108 acres) which includes a pool, 6 tennis courts, duck pond, and private access to Lake Tashmoo and ocean beaches. It abuts a public golf course and is a short walk to downtown and West Chop lighthouse. First floor includes a living room with 20 foot cathedral ceiling, fireplace, bleached oak hardwood floors and multiple large windows that create an inviting light, open and airy feel. French doors open onto a private deck with lounge chairs, picnic table, and gas and charcoal grills. A formal dining room boasts a window seat, built-in lighted display cabinetry, and large French country pine table. Eat-in tiled kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher/disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, lobster and steamer pots, and refrigerator with icemaker/water dispenser. Den has futon, desk and high speed Internet access.

Two large bedrooms on second floor: master suite contains queen sized bed, armoire, and large TV/DVD. Master bath has double travertine vanity, double size jacuzzi tub with window overlooking woods, and separate shower. Second bedroom has queen size bed, double closets and en-suite bathroom with tub, shower and travertine vanity. First floor den has double size futon; nearby is a separate bathroom with stall shower. Lower level contains a finished family room, separate room with bunk beds, and laundry room. House also has outdoor shower.

This is a Sat-Sat rental. Rate is $1900-$2900/week. Sleeps 6-8.

Tashmoo Woods in Vineyard Haven is a quiet residential area, comprised of single family homes and condo units (3 townhouse type units in each building). Each house and condo building are individually landscaped and set apart from each other. There is a central common area which contains the standard size pool and lounge area and 6 tennis courts. In addition, Tashmoo Woods has its own private small boat launching dock on Lake Tashmoo and a private beach on the sound. We are located about one mile from the center of Vineyard Haven, home of the Black Dog Tavern and Bakery, Bunch of Grapes Bookstore, and ferry terminal, and about one mile from West Chop Lighthouse.
