Description of the Vineyard Haven vacation cottage rental

Acorn in the Woods is a 3 bedroom cottage with deck, grill, fireplace, outside shower, washer/drier, cable, hammocks, tire swing, basketball hoop, and occasional wild turkeys. It is a half mile to town and ferry and a half mile to Lake Tashmoo. The three bedrooms consist of a bunk bed, two twin beds, and a queen size bed.
Pets are okay (but no alligators, please).

The area is wooded with some new construction. It is a nice walk to church and town. In town, there are buses that can take you anywhere. Besides the turkeys, there are a good variety of birds that frequent the area.

Excellent location and the accommodations met our needs quite well. As we had heard there would be a lot of wild Turkey sightings. There were many.

Wonderful little cottage in the woods. Its location is close enough to town and other points of interest, but isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods. Great for just two or a group of ten.
