Description of the Vineyard Haven vacation home rental
Lovely 4 bedroom home- 3 blocks from town. Best features are location, the very large LR. with hardwood floors and beach stone fireplace, huge enclosed front porch (35' by 14'), sunny upper deck, hot/cold outdoor shower (great from after the beach) and privacy since property is surrounded on 3 sides by a wooded area.
The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, microwave, blender, pot for lobster steaming etc. Other equipment: cable tv, high speed internet/ wifi/ washer/ dryer, linens (if requested), grills/ gas/ charcoal and plenty of parking.
All rooms are large, hardwood floors in all first floor rooms: LR, DR, one bedroom (with 1/2 bath). Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, 2 with wall to wall carpeting. Bedrooms: 2 full size beds, 1 queen and 2 single beds. Our home is approx. 3,000sq ft. so there is plenty of rooms for all. Nice back yard for dining out. Best lobster rolls from nearby Grace Church on Fridays.

Area Information
This home is 3 blocks from town and from 2 beaches. Home is set back from street yet you can walk to shops, live theater, dining, movie theater, ferry, tennis, marina, windsurfing and golf is a short (5 minute) drive. Easy access to Edgartown Rd. and then to South Beach (7 miles). Paved bike trails within one block.

Q:How close is your home to the Steamship ferry?
A:very close...1/3 of a mile.
Q:Do we need a car?
A:No. Since the house is so close to town it is very easy to use the bus system and if necessary one can a rental car for a day or use a cab if you want to go up Island.
