Great place too stay on broad walk location was great! The view was fantastic saw the dolphins every afternoon! I like that the windows were from floor to ceiling and were able to see the ocean while we caught up on the olympics!

Great Vacation Spot

Great location, 1201 is on the end of the building so you get an extra window. Two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, stocked kitchen, dining room table seating 6, room for 8 easily in living room, very small balcony but the unit overlooks the beach and Atlantic Ocean with views to die for. The unit is a little bit tired - just a few things here and there that could use some spiffing up, but clean and comfortable and in a great, family friendly location. The pool is very small but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The A/C stopped working after a lightening strike but they had it back up less than 2 hours after we reported it. It was a bit pricey compared to the usual vacation we take but we had a lovely time and would go again.

We were in Virginia Beach for my daughter's national dance competition. This unit was updated, beautiful and very tastefully decorated. There was nothing that we needed that was not available in this unit. From a fully equipped kitchen to beach chairs and even an umbrella. My daughters and their friends loved being able to come and go as they pleased since everything was within walking distance. The view of the ocean and boardwalk were spectacular. I would definitely vacation again in this unit. The staff was also very accommodating as we were not able to arrive until late Sunday night and our keys were left in the safe in the lobby. We had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a great Virginia Beach vacation :)

Wonderful Vacation!

I really loved staying here!! The location on the Boardwalk was PERFECT! The condo was spacious & tastefully decorated. We had plenty of room inside and I loved the Boardwalk being just downstairs & the beach just beyond the Boardwalk! My husband is not a "beach goer", so the big window in the living room was just perfect for his sightseeing of ships out on the sea! We've tried to find this unit available again when we were heading to Va., but haven't gotten that lucky yet! One of my favorite memories is watching the sunrise from the living room window while watching the waves on the shore... It looked like the ocean was literally within arms reach of where I was sitting on the sofa! I LOVED that! I would not hesitate to stay here again!

This was our first time staying at Edgewater. After reading reviews about how nice it was, I decided to book a week there. Everything I read about was true. The place was clean, plenty of room, it is located right on the beach and in the middle of great shops and restaurants. We will be coming back here again next year, and I'm sure many years after!

Nice mostly....

We opted to stay at this property instead of a hotel while in town for a field hockey tournament. The condo was very spacious, and adequately equipped with all the necessary things needed for our stay. I did not care for the linen service, as there was always a lack of towels( only one bath, hand, and wash cloth given/ person ), and the quality of the linens in general were poor. The elevator was very slow, and because it was busy the waits were long. On the day of check out... the cleaning staff for units throughout the building descended down like a cloud of locusts one half hour before check out ( at 9:30am ), further clogging the said slow elevators while we were all trying to pack up our cars..., and applying unnecessary pressure for guests to vacate. A bit tacky. Parking spaces not assigned numerically, and we never found the second parking space for our unit. Public areas very clean, building well maintained. Carpet in unit is dirty looking, and makes you want to wear shoes. On a positive note...The beach is beautiful!
