Description of the Virginia Beach vacation cottage rental

Winter Rental available Sept 15 until May 15

Two bedroom cottages just 1 short block to beach and on Back Bay. Large covered deck just perfect for that early morning coffee and watch the herons, geese, and other wildlife.

Kitchen is well furnished with mixers, coffee maker, large fridge with icemaker plus more.

Guests supply their linens, however the owner can assist guest to rent linens. This service is very popular.

Area Information

Outdoor Resorts is a gated community. Over a mile and half of paved roads for walking, or biking.

Back Bay Nature refuge is within biking distance. Back Bay and False Cape Park are the home for wild pigs, many other wildlife species.

Bikes may be rented in Sandbridge.

The area are fine golf courses for the vacationing golfers. The Virginia Marine Science Museum is a short drive away as is the famous Virginia Beach Boardwalk.

During the spring and summer, guests can visit one of the many "U-Pick It" farms to gather fresh berries, vegies, etc.

Shopping centers are 15 minutes away. All of this in the quiet family oriented vacation area known as Sandbridge.

Good family restaurants are in the area. Guests have their choice of the clean pristine Sandbridge Beach, or one of two pools at the resort. Children of all ages meet new friends. Little Island City Park is a block away. Fishing pier there and beach with lifeguards.

Pleasantly surprised

This was my first experience in this type of resort and I must say that I was very positive. The personnel is very nice. The resort is well maintained, clean and close enough to the beach which is beautiful and quiet. I loved the fact that it was in a quiet area far from high buildings that create shade on the beach too early in the afternoon,

My husband and I were so happy to find an affordable place so close to the ocean and the national wildlife refuge we love to visit. We had noticed this tucked away section before but hadn't realized there was rental property here. The 'cottage' was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning another time.
