07/13/2007 After a long journey, this cabin was a sight for sore eyes! So beautiful and peaceful.... Thank you for all the detailed arrival information Genevieve!
07/19/2007 We agree with all the previous comments. We especially loved the bay window where the bed was placed. It was great to wake up in the middle of the night to a blanket of stars. We only regret that the cottage already rented in November when we wanted to come back.

08/03/2007 Remarkable. The cottage was wonderfully appointed. It was very nice to have a gas cooktop. For anybody cooking in the unit, that is a big plus!
The soaking tub saved my life!
Blessings to all who enter. Mahalo

09/26/2007 Just returned from a very nice combination business/pleasure trip to the Big Island. We stayed two nights at the cabin and were very impressed. Incredibly relaxing and quiet. I heard a dog barking in the distance one afternoon but otherwise nothing but the sounds of light rain on the roof and birds when it was sunny. Yet a very short drive to "town". Cabin itself is as others have described. Very cozy. Very clean. Everything you need and more - satellite TV, wireless internet, etc. No issues at all. We ended up using the cabin as our base for exploring this side of the island and it worked out well. Mahalo

09/30/2007 Just returned from a recent stay at the
Aloha Nohea Volcano Cabin and it was perfect. This cabin was very cozy, very clean, and had all of the amenities we needed and more. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend these accommodations to anyone visiting the Volcano area.

10/22/2007 What a wonderful cabin this is! We enjoyed part of our honeymoon in August 2007 there, and can't speak highly enough of it. The setting is perfect for instant access to Volcanoes National Park, and the cabin itself is just beautiful. It was fantastic to be able to lie in bed and watch the stars above you through the window. The bathroom is totally amazing also. Highly recommended, and superbly romantic :-)
We would stay here again, most definitely! Mahalo!

4/22/07 Enchanting cottage in the woods and ferns. Could not recommend it more for an intimate retreat on the Big Island. Very clean and comfy- Haiku, Hawaii
5/8/07-We loved our baths and serenity at the Aloha Nohea.
Thank you for creating such a special space. The
location is so peaceful. Can't wait to celebrate my
future birthdays in the calmness of volcano...MAHALO- Kamuela, HI
5/18/07 We stayed 15 days in Hawaii(Maui, Big Island and Oahu) and your cottage was the best & most comfortable place we stayed. Surrounded by fern & tropical trees, it was just quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Perfect location to go to Volcanoes NP(less than 5 minutes drive)
We look forward to come back to Hawaii to stay at your cottage again!-Doug & Ako Brons, Sacramento, CA
6/6/07- WOW!!! We had a blast at the cabin. It was cozy in every way! The lanai on the back hosted the best cup of coffee I had on the island! We found ourselves making mental notes as well as photos of the place so we could build our next home like the cabin! It was a steal for the money! Our only complaint was that the town wasn't awake when we were! Doesn't everyone want breakfast at 7AM EST?!?!? What a beautiful memory! Thanks sooo much. We would definately stay again!!!!!!-Alicia Hodges, McDonough, GA
06/08/2007 We just returned from our first visit to the Big Island, and two nights at your beautiful cabin. We were looking for a quiet, affordable place near the Volcano. Your cabin greatly exceeded all of our expectations! The photos do not do it justice!!
The cabin was beautiful, covered in hard wood with recessed lighting everywhere. The bathroom was superb - the soaking tub was great after a long day hiking at VNP. Everything felt so cozy, and the decor was well coordinated giving the place a homey feel. We loved the large windows everywhere that allowed a great view into the peaceful tropical forest. We also enjoyed having our coffee each morning on the comfy covered back porch. The entire cabin was immaculate upon our arrival, and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Genevieve was very helpful in offering advice on where to go to see lava flowing (which we did - AMAZING!).
We'll gladly return our next visit to the Volcano, and we'll happily refer our friends. Mahalo for a wonderful stay. -Jessica Nicholson, Kauai, HI
