My family had a great time at the Lazy Lahua cottage. We had unseasonably sunny weather for the time of year and the location. The house was charming and comfortable. We enjoyed being that close to the park, three nights in a row we went to see the crater glow in the night.

We've been blessed to have stayed in Volcano Village dozens of times over the last twenty years & this is the best we've come across. Looking forward to many happy returns to this wonderful retreat in the rainforest. Mahalo Joyce!

We have never booked a private home/cottage, but this place exceeded all expectations. It was in a development of sorts...private homes only...but large lots with so much foliage and trees everywhere that you couldn't even see the houses very much at all. This place was very private and no curtains needed on any window. So clean and every amenity was there. So comfortable. Had to climb stairs to bedroom so if that bothers you....but for us in our 60's it was fine. Best location for seeing volcano stuff.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the cottage. It is surrounded by beautiful rainforest and is completely private. It was a great place to come "home" to after a day of adventure. The bed was extremely comfy and the gas fireplaces were great on chilly mornings.

We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Lehua Cottage. Comfortable, cute, clean, quiet and well equipped. Great location too. We also stayed at jungle2sea in Hanelei on Kauai which was awful. It was very poorly equipped, extremely dirty, drooling feral cats on the lanai, sofas smelled of dogs, the range was outdoors in a dirty area and only partially functional, with no counters. Half the lights didn't work, the kitchen sink was tiny, I could go on and on but I won't. Thanks, Maureen

Lazy Lehua Cottage is the best of both worlds. You can stay here in the serenity it offers, or close by there are many adventures to experience. It's a beautiful and fun place for a vacation.
