Description of the Wabeno vacation cabin rental

Country-decorated cabin on hill, near woods and overlooking Round Lake. The area is quiet and easy to find. There are just a few homes or cottages on this side of lake, and most are here a few weekends each summer. There are magnificent sunsets, and the lake is small(67 acres) but has character.

Area Information

Cabin is located just off Hwy 32 midway between Wabeno and Laona, Wisconsin. The general area is mostly forested, but the cabin is in an opening. There is some wildlife to be seen, but none to be wary of. There is some shopping in both towns, and more within a few miles, in Lakewood, Crandon, and further(40 mi.)Rhinelander and Antigo.

Wonderful, Down-to-Earth Vacation Spot!

This was a very well-kept, comfortable cabin with a beautiful view of Round Lake and all the amenities of home. We enjoyed fishing on the lake, campfires at night, and hikes at several spots in Nicolet National Forest.that were just a short drive away. Reasonably priced and highly recommended - what can be better!

Cottage was well warmed for our arrival. Clean, well equipt kitchen. Very quiet and cozy. Watching the snow gently falling from the living room patio door was so peaceful. Far Superior to a Hotel/Motel!

This cabin was wonderful!!! The owner was very helpful -- couldn't have been better! Free access to boating on a beautiful lake. . .free firewood, everything provided in the cabin.
