We stayed at this property last February and had a fantastic time. The property is remodelled and has a new kitchen and bath, with nice furniture, even a dvd player and cds!. Its a perfect beach house, with just a 2 minute walk down the hill to the beach. I think Oneora is one of the nicest beaches on the island, with white sand, clear blue water, and safe swimming, even for our two year old. Its a short walk to awesome restaurants (check out Vino Vino!), great coffee shops, and grocery and fruit and vege stores. Its also very convenient to the ferry and just a short walk to several lovely vineyards, including peninsula estate and mudbrick. We love waiheke - there is more to do than ever. During our stay we went on the wine festival tour, to the petting zoo, wine tasting to just about every vineyard, swimming, hired kayaks, and just had a blast.

Waiheke is wonderful, and the weather has been nearly perfect the whole time, just two days of torrential rain a couple of weeks ago. I rather liked that too. Your house is very lovely, and I'm very comfortable. With the vineyards and olive groves, one could almost imagine being in the Mediterranean.
