Description of the Waikiki vacation apartment rental

Welcome to our highly upgraded, designer appointed two bedroom, one bath condos at Royal Aloha in Waikiki. The higher floor unit(s) with water views is just a short stroll to the beach, cafes and shops on the Kalakaua boardwalk.

Located at the gateway to Waikiki, with easy access to the Kalakaua Avenue boardwalk, or neighboring Ala Moana and Kapiolani, enjoy all Waikiki and Honolulu has to offer. A beautiful part of Waikiki beach, near the the new Beachwalk and the Hilton Hawaiian Village, is two blocks away.

After a day at the beach, relax on your lanai and enjoy breezy tradewinds and calming views of the Ala Wai Canal, the cityscape and the Koolau Mountain Range. Both of our two bedroom units have good feng shui, and a floor plan which opens up to the view, and offers good separation between bedrooms for added privacy.

The condo features tasteful, contemporary tropical appointments. Outfitted with a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the second bedroom (or one full, one twin), and a pullout sofa bed in the living room. The condo will sleep four to six people. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, including cookware, coffee maker, a full sized range, microwave oven, and a rice cooker.

In addition to Waikiki, this location allows for easy access to some places you'll definitely want to visit, including Ala Moana beach, world class Ala Moana Shopping Center, local eateries off of Kapiolani Blvd. and nearby Don Quijote, Hawaii's most interesting supermarket plaza. The Hawaii Convention Center is just a few minutes walk away.

Nearby attractions and activities include the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, Ala Moana beach park, Ala Moana shopping center, Sunset on the Beach festival, the Ala Wai Golf Course and of course, the beach!

Access in and out of Waikiki is great, for going around the island, or hop on "The Bus" and you'll be visiting the historic buildings of Honolulu, or at the galleries and Chinatown in downtown Honolulu in minutes.

Ala Wai Canal boardwalk just outside the building, great for leisurely strolls watching the canoe paddlers, or running or biking up the beautiful Ala Wai. Great surfing on Oahu's renowned South shore coast, from Waikiki to Ala Moana.

This location allows great access to local eateries, cafes, ice cream shops up and down Kapiolani Blvd., including McCully Shopping Center which is just a couple of minutes walk over the bridge. And right off of Kapiolani you will find Don Qujiote supermarket and restaurants, WalMart, etc.

• Deposits: 30% rental deposit to book a reservation. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. There is also a $100 security deposit, which is promptly refunded after post-checkout inspection.
   
• Other Fees: $95 checkout cleaning fee. Parking available next door at the Hawaiian Monarch for $12/day with 24 hr. in/out privileges, or at the Waikiki Landmark, Halekoa, etc. Monthly parking also available. Credit available for parking (full rate bookings only).

We were looking for an affordable yet well located condo for our vacation with our 2 year old and found this place. Online, it looks fantastic and in person, it was even better. Amazing views from every window, lots of light, beautifully remodeled and decorated and very, very comfortable. The location is great, too - 2 blocks from the zoo, three from the ocean, and one from three ABC stores. It wasn't the most sound-proof condo but that was mostly due to the beautiful tile throughout the unit and the compact size. However, it was plently large for our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

My family of four adults stayed in this condo comfortably. It was conveniently located to many shops, restaurants, bus stops, beaches & parks. The condo was secure, felt safe. Parking rental cars next door at the Royal Monarch was a good deal at $12/night. The condo was clean upon arrival and had what we needed. It was nice to have the beach items: towels, boogie boards, mats, umbrella! Reasonably priced with prompt and courteous communication with the owner prior to arrival and working out rental details. Would recommend this condo to others visiting the Waikiki/Ala Moana area! Hope to return again ourselves! Mahola!!
