Awesome Oceanfront Waikiki Condo - Pure Luxury (#37733)

Write a review Just like the picture, we stayed on the 20th floor looking over the Hilton Lagoon with the ocean in the background. Considering the price, it has to be the best value out there. We had an excellent experience! The condo was comfortable with a spectacular view with an afforadable price. I am so delighted we choose this property. Well situated, well appointed. The view was amazing and the lanai was a perfect size. The pictures were exactly what we saw when we opened the condo door. I have been to Hawaii five times before and I will never stay at another hotel. This was great value for the dollar and we enjoyed the flexibility of making our own meals which was a huge cost savings. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. We are already planning our stay for next year! Thanks for a great stay!! The description of the room, view and facilites was very accurate. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to look after individual needs. Internet is free (most places charge $ 10.00/day). Great access to the beach/lagoon area. We are looking forward to several more returns to this place!!! We stayed here for a week. It was just as pictured--very new, clean and well-decorated. The building is lovely and a very short walk to the beach and pool as well as shops and restaurants on the beach. We could see the Friday night fire-works from the deck. The only con--very, very little room for clothes. There's nothing at the condo for daily use--not even kleenex or salt/pepper. Also,I wish there was a shelf in the shower for hair products. All very minor things. On the whole, it was a great place to stay and would certainly reserve again. We stayed almost a month at unit #516 Great views from the lanai of the lagoon and ocean. Nicely decorated,with newer appliances and LCD TV.A few suggestions for owner. Get a better coffee maker and toaster. Only major complant if any would be that this unit only had a closet to put our cloths in and no dresser, which easliy could be put in unit instead of a large mirror when there is already lots of mirrors in the bathroon. Wanted to thank Scott for all he's help. Cheers Paul & Erin We stayed at the Ilikai. We had a great family vacation there. We stayed on the 14th floor room 1412. We loved the view of the lagoon and the ocean. We parked at the Lagoon parking the machines are old and don't work the best. It was $6.00 a day and you could only use the old bills. but it was a good price. we love our stay and would stay again. Decent location and price. Looked exactly like the picture. Reasonable place for a child (we brought our two year old). The beach was a 7 minute walk. The laundry facilities on this floor were not good (dryer didn't really work), maybe try another floor? Valet guys were really nice. The parking in the back was pretty minimal but wouldn't be a long walk. Overall this was a good place for good value. this was the perfect getaway right on the beach plenty of space and all the amenities for cooking at home which was extremely imprortant since we had a picky eater As far as I'm concerned, having a condo with a kitchen is the only way to go in Hawaii. We had the marina (west) facing condo and enjoyed the sunsets and view over the marina that was shown at the beginning of each Gilligan's Island show. My cousin had a condo facing the lagoon on the other side of the building. Her room was always shaded (which can be nice) but we had the better view though it is a matter of preference. The wifi service was good and I was able to check Hawaii web sites, etc. (bring your own laptop). One drawback. Don't count on the front desk for good information. They won't tell you about the lower priced OVERNIGHT public parking behind the hotel and will direct you to more expensive operations though the front desk is not part of the condo company. "Ditto" to all the other reviews ... clean, spacious and lovely, tho no drawer space so living out of your suitcase except for hang-up clothes was necessary. Yes, only set up for two in glassware, dishes, etc. Good value and wonderful patio/views! We just stayed in this condo for the past two weeks and it was really nice and very comfortable! The online photos were 100% accurate- The room was decorated beautifully, the location was awesome, and parking behind at the marina was only $6 daily. The bed was so comfortable and the view was great. A couple of quirks- Bring quarters if you plan on washing clothes- 2 per load in quarters only. Also there was zero storage in the bathroom, and the faucet spout was loose in the kitchen. Other than that all was great. I would recommend this condo to everyone! What a bargain compared the the overpriced hotels in the vicinity. My sisters and I had a great time. It was wonderful to overlook the Ala Moana Beach Park where we all learned to swim. The location at the end of Waikiki is ideal because you don't get caught in the Waikiki traffic and can walk into Waikiki if you choose. The room, appliances and decor was very satisfactory. The only downside is that the room sleeps four but dining space, wine glasses and beach towels are really only set up for two. What can i say simply beautiful. Home away from home. The condo was awesome, great views of the beach and everything was within walking distance. I will also stay there again when my husband and i visit. Very clean and fabulous. Excellent location. Highly reccomend this condo. Owner was easily to deal with. Went to the Ilikai recently for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The room was just as lovely as the pictures, fully renovated with everything at our finger tips. We throughly enjoyed ourselfs . It had been 20yrs since my wife and I have been away by ourselfs. It has renewed our spirits and love for one another . We are looking to go back in December with our family . Aloha This is excellent value when you consider its convenient location on the beach and the top quality of everything in the room. The views of the ocean and marina were superb with beautiful sunsets. Everything in the room had top quality, the finishings (all granite counters and stainless steel appliances), furniture (very modern and tasteful color scheme), bedding (down duvet and pillows and top grade cotton sheets), towels (Tommy Hilfiger). Even beach towels were provided, which was a nice to have. We had a great stay and would go there again at any time. The only downside is that most shops at the Ilikai have been closed due to the planned rennovations so there is not much going on at the hotel, compared to other hotels.
