Description of the Waikiki vacation condo rental

This very quiet, well maintained building is a short walk to the Waikiki Beach. This one bedroom has a queen and full size bed, and TV. In the living room, there is a Flat wide screen TV, DVD player. This unit with ocean view sleeps up to 4 people and is ideal for families with children or a couples vacation. The bedroom is completely separated by a long hall way with bathroom in between and quiet. This is a full size bathroom with a shower and Japanese style deep soaking bath tub (furo).

This unit comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with built in cook top, convection portable oven, full size refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, and rice cooker. Linens and towels are provided. Here you will enjoy many amenities such as a swimming pool, laundry room, central A/C, 24/7 security guard, keyed elevator, internet service and parking is available upon request. You will not regret reading the newspaper and drinking coffee on the lanai enjoying the partial ocean views.

Area Information

This is on the Kuhio Avenue in the heart of Waikiki. This centrally located condo is very convenient to different types of restaurants, such as the Cheesecake factory and Duke's Bar and Grill, shops, entertainment, International Market Place and bus lines that bring you anywhere on the island. Every thing you need is just short walking distance. The famous Kalakaua Avenue is just one block from Kuhio Ave.

Great value & location, needs a good cleaning

We live on the North Shore of Oahu, and stayed here for seven nights during the kid's spring break. The location is fantastic and the building is nice. In the large bedroom is a queen bed and a full bed, and the living area has a comfortable sofa that is a pull-out bed. The living room also has a dining table and kitchenette with a tall fridge, which was nice (most vacation rentals only have a mini-fridge). Parking was included for a small additional fee, which was really nice and rare for condo/hotels. I'm giving it four stars because for the space and location, the price was excellent, probably the best value on Kuhio. But there were some definite short-comings as well. When we arrived, the place looked like it had been cleaned in a rush and a lot of stuff was missed, and the sheets/bedding were very old and looked like they hadn't been washed from the previous guest. So we changed the linens ourselves and did a quick cleaning when we first arrived. The queen bed frame is also very squeaky and makes noise any time you move. There was only one roll of toilet paper, so it was annoying to have to buy TP and restock it ourselves. And the internet is only a wired ethernet connection in an inconvenient location, so plugging in the laptop was a pain. But I feel that most of our complaints were due to poor housekeeping in between guests. We would definitely stay here again.

The Condo was quite, nice walk to the beach. Locatation was great. Loved having the kitchen and two TVs , as we could relax or go too bed without hearing the TV or watch it in the bedroom. WIFI as well...bus stop and stores within walking. cant wait to go back and rent this codo again.

Convenient Location in Waikiki

Apartment vacations as opposed to hotels have much to offer. If the price, location, cleanliness and amenities are up to par they are a fabulous alternative to pricey hotels and allow for a more casual relaxing vacation. Waikiki Park Heights has the potential to be all that and more. The location is excellent right in the middle of those more expensive hotels, short walk to beach, grocery stores, shops of all kinds and resturants in every price range. There is a great pool on the 4th floor, parking, friendly 24 hour security, parking and the price can be quite reasonable. There are several agents and owners who offer rental units in this building unfortunately I did not make the best choice. My trip began in an apt on the 6th floor which had much to offer- there were two televisions both with working remotes and two queen beds. There was a DVD player but no instructions and no one willing to provide that information. Cleaning is quite casual and we found a treasure trove of old bottle caps, papers and sand under the couch and hair in the drains. We stayed for 12 days after we did the clean up ourselves and then left for 5 days for a trip to another island. The supposed clean up man showed up ready to walk in at 8 am before we were even out the door on our way to the airport. We returned to stay in a different unit s .

It was a good experience, The location is great easy access to bus line,Waykiki beach very close and accessible. I must admit there is few minor things that could use touch ups, but generally clean ,with a tv in the bedroom and living room, an d all appliances very nice including a portable good size oven . The beds comfortable but squickie.We will be there again it served our needs well

Great Place but unreliable agent

The agent was very unreliabe and hard to get a hold of thankfully the staff at the location was very helpful and able finally get us in our condo after a few hours waiting. The condo itself was spacious and really a 5 minute walk to the beach. There were a lot of extras like beach mats, floaties, goggles which was nice that we didn't have to buy any extras. Overall what began as a rocky started ended up being a great place to stay.
