This was our first time booking through an actual condo owner, and was a little nervous. It turned out to be a great experience. I will always deal this way when my family goes on vacation. The owner (Weng) was very nice to deal with and the condo was BEAUTIFUL. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, there were plenty of towels, bedding, and toiletries. If we ran out of anything (like shampoo) the front desk sent someone up immediately to refill. Front desk staff was nice and the whole place was spotless. I liked the little extras, like the big jug of lemon ice water at the front desk to refill our water bottles before heading out to the beach. The Wyndham Waikiki is centrally located to everything. Lewers Street has been fixed up beautifully and the shops around are great. The only negative is that my husband would not let me stay, he made me come back home, back to reality. We took a trolley over to the Ala Moana Mall on the first day and walked over to the Walmart and bought groceries for breakfasts and lunches. We figured we saved huge by doing this, and the trolley is only $2.00 each way. It stops the next road over in front of the post office and you can cut through hotel lobbies to take a shortcut back the the condo. I hope we can come back next year.

The 2Bd 2Ba timeshare is spacious, sparkling clean, and convenient. The service is excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dish and plates. The living room was perfect for us to hold a tea party at noon time. It just liked our home and our family and guest all enjoyed it. Excellent!

Much better alternative to Motel. Very comfortable, modern and great service from the resort staff. Kids were also well catered for by friendly outgoing staff with activities, pool and games rooms available for complimentary use. Plenty of space, full modern kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge, washer/dryer, LCD Tv's in all rooms, quiet A/C. Street was vibrant without being noisy or offensive, rooms were very quiet, even when there was partying going on outside. Plenty of dining options close by and the supermarket is not too far away either. Be prepared for a time-share marketing session (90 Mins), though you are well rewarded if you can tolerate that sort of thing. It should be noted, for those unaware, that Waikiki is very tourist oriented. If that is the environment you want to experience then I would definately recommend this accomodation. If not, this is still a very comfortable place to return to after you head out and see the rest of the island. I've stayed in many motels etc with and without kids and I am very fussy when it comes to accomodation. I considered the Wyndham very difficult to fault.

You will be in the heart of the shopping and entertainment area. Close to beach, good restaurants and shopping. The room was very adequate, although there is no a/c in the bedrooms, only the living area. Fans in the bedrooms though. The staff was accommodating, asking if we required anything or any assistance. Only one criticism and that is they push the excursions, trips or packages. We would ask for an area to hike and they would provide the information and then try and get us to book with a company. The pool area is small and gets only late morning and early afternoon sun, due to the other building around. Overall if you want the action of Waikiki, there is not better location.

I stayed at this place for 6 days with my family. All staffs were kind and their answers and services for our requests were really quick. I used two rooms and both rooms were really clean. Out side as well. My favorite point of this place is all stuffs to live in all units. One unsatisfied point is that shower was low-pressure. We, however, satisfied to stay there. If I go to Hawaii again, I would love to stay at this place!

The Wyndham at Waikiki Beach walk more than exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the presidential suite; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a private balcony off each room and the living room. A full kitchen with granite counter tops, dining room seats 8 and seating for 8 in the living room. Every room has a flat screen TV! The interior is tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable! If you're looking to seeplaces of interest around the island...stop by the concierge as they are eager to assist you. if relaxation is what you crave; the property has a beautiful pool area with a large hot tub. For a little fun and entertainment, there's a recreation room with a pool table and ping pong that was always awaiting a competitive player! The attractive open air reception area for lounging and relaxing poolside makes for a very leisurely day . A festive event was held on the patio each evening such as an ice cream social, free mai tai's,rootbeer floats and more. This is a great enviroment for socializing! No need for a rental car as the beach, formal dining, a yummy breakfast or a quick cheeseburger was just across the street! The best highlight....a diverse range of stores for a unforgettable shopping spree is just outside your door! The Wyndham at Waikiki beach walk is definitely worth checking out! And checking in! Everything you need for a perfect vacation is at your fingertips! We will not stay anywhere else now that we've experienced the Wyndham!

It was great for a family. The two queen beds in the second bedroom made it great for family sleeping. Having the two bathrooms was a real plus. The master suite had everything you would need. The staff was wonderful and very easy to book tours. We were very happy with our stay.

Spacious, clean condo...fairly well equipped. Washer and dryer in the suite, dryer is very slow. Beds are comfortable and rooms are as pictured on rental website. They are a bit dark. There are no ceiling lights but small deck and large sliding doors in each room which when curtains are open helps light the room.Location is great for walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. Pool gets the morning sun but is quite cool in the evening. Welcome desk staff were very aggressive and unpleasant when we declined to attend the 1&1/2 hour sales pitch.....actually called us in our room to summon us back to their desk. Other than this aspect we found the stay enjoyable and a good value.

I have been to Hawaii many times and have stayed in a few different hotels. The Wyndham by far exceeded my expectations. The room we stayed in was clean and very spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location and the price. I spotted this place on our first visit in 2011 to Waikiki and when we returned the following year I managed to secure a 2 bedroom apartment, with the wonderful help of Robert. There was no let down here, the place was wonderful. Staff always ready to help and place kept really clean. Being centrally located, everything including the beach, was so easy to get to and convenient. Everything you need is already there in the apartment and having a washer and dryer as well, just make it that so much easier. With 2 older teenage kids we needed the extra space and having two bathrooms was a great. Would definitely recommend staying at The Wyndham - well worth the money, and can't wait to return .

We had a group of 6 stay at the Wyndham for 10 nights. It was very comfortable and spacious for 6 and provided everything we needed including a decent pool area, insuite laundry and a fully-equipped kitchen. The balconies were really tiny and there weren't any views but it was just steps away from Waikiki beach, dining and shopping. What I most appreciated was the use of the hospitality suite. On our final day, we had to check out by 10am although our flight wasn't until 9:30pm that evening. It was great to have access to the pool and use of the hospitality suite to shower and change after a day of activity. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is in the heart of Waikiki and all the action. The room was clean, well maintained and very nicely decorated. Staff were friendly. Loved the variety of activities offered - I power walked with Shannon! Not near a grocery store so fresh offerings were hard to come by since we had no rental car. It would be great if the Wyndham could organize a farmers market once a week with local providers! I would rate the property higher, but hated that the welcome package was a sales pitch for scheduling and buying activities.

everything was great...the only complaint..and not the fault of the resort, was the construction noise that was near the hotel. However, we weren't hanging around the room much. The construction was started at an appropriate time and ended in the afternoon. Otherwise everything was great. Clean rooms, all the promised extras and the kids loved it.

The condo was modern, clean & spacious. The staff was very nice & helpful except for when we went to the timeshare show. The staff working on commission that spoke to us were very pushy & rude. It was a total turn off. Was slightly interested but not after the horrible customer service & sharp words used by the staff trying to sell the timeshare.

Our extended family of 12 stayed in two 2 beroom units for two weeks, and it fit our needs perfectly. Though it was not 5 star luxury, it was nice and clean and a good value for the price. It was also conveniently located close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The concierge desk was very helpful in locating tours and rental cars. As we were leaving, we all agreed that we did a great job picking this property.

The 2 bedroom was comfortable for 6 adults. Personnel very kind and attentive. The hotel was accessible to restaurants, shopping and the beach was 2 blocks away. I feel the outdoor swimming pool was small. I would recommend the Wyndham Waikiki Beachwalk.

Staff was VERY friendly and helpful offering their services without being too pushy. Perfect location in proximity to beach, nightlife, restaurants, shopping and convenient stores. The area it is in looks like it has been recently built or renovated compared to many other parts of Waikiki. Would recommend this place to my friends and I would also stay here again.
