Description of the Waikoloa vacation condo rental
Hali'i Kai is rated the #1 Condo resort in Hawaii by 2 independent travel sites and the only condo complex to receive the "Hidden Gems" award from the popular travel book "Big Island Revealed"!!!
With low airfares, Hawaii is the place to go. Our condo (5F) is a large three-bedroom, three-bath Condo (over 1900 square feet including lanais)...it's the largest floor plan available at the resort. You can sleep up to eight comfortably and you’ll have plenty of room to relax and enjoy the warm breezes and sunshine that the South Kohala/Waikoloa Beach Resort area offers.
You’ll get use of the beautiful Hali'i Kai Beach Club with a gorgeous pool (small children will love the shallow pool play area), fitness room, BBQ, lounge area, restaurant and bar--all with a cliff-side view of the ocean. One of the most beautiful places on earth! You may never want to leave the resort.
Hali'i Kai is located next to the famous Waikoloa golf course with the Hilton Waikoloa just a short walk away ($80 per day for a family of four are offered to enjoy their resort amenities if they are not full). The King’s Shops and Queen's Shops provide restaurants and shopping within the resort area. There are many beaches close by to enjoy. Hali'i Kai is approximately 20 minutes from the Kona airport.
Our Villa includes:
-High-quality furnishings.
-The upstairs master bedroom, with it’s own private lanai, has an ocean/golf course view. The en suite master bathroom includes a stall shower, a large soaking tub, and walk-in closet. A flat-screen LCD TV, DVD Player and I-Pod compatible speaker system.
-The 2nd upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, and a separate bathroom with a stall shower.
-The Downstairs queen bedroom with flat-screen LCD TV, DVD Player and radio (I-pod compatible). Adjacent to the bedroom is a third bathroom with a tub/shower.
-We have supplied a very comfortable queen Aerobed for use in the the twin bedroom or family room to allow the unit to accommodate up to eight people.
-The kitchen has granite counter-tops with new appliances and all you need to either cook your own meals or enjoy take-out on the lanai (this is where we eat most of our meals).
-A laundry room with a washer and dryer are also available in the unit.
-Free Wireless Internet
The Great Room has a Flat-Screen Plasma TV, DVD Player, and Stereo system (iPod-compatible), Dining Table and chairs, and stools for the counter. The vaulted ceiling gives the unit a feeling of spaciousness and light. The lanai off of the great room has a golf course and ocean view.
The Tennis Courts and Basketball Court are located just a few steps from the unit.
During whale season (December-April) it’s easy to see humpbacks swimming directly off the coast from the Ocean Club. No need to take excursions when you’ve got a premier view from the shoreline. With sunsets off the horizon and the sounds of waves crashing in the background; it truly creates a pleasing and therapeutic environment for all to enjoy.
There is so much to do within just a few minutes (helicopter rides, beaches, luau's, shopping, fishing, golf, K ranch, Whale-watching, Scuba, Snorkeling, incredible restaurants and so much more). The area and resort are truly "hidden gems." Hali'i Kai provides a luxurious home base from which you can explore the entire Big Island and its many picturesque beaches. We will give guests great tips on where to eat, play and shop!

Be advised, Hali'i Kai Resort collects a one time check-in fee of $30.00 + tax for each reservation (regardless of stay duration or number in party or whom the reservation is booked through). The check-in fee allows guests access to the property and Ocean Club facilities and includes the following:
1. Electronic entry gate key card
2. Two (2) Welcome Drink coupons
3. Two (2) Twenty Percent (20%) off Restaurant Coupons
Please Note: No reservation dates are placed on hold until a Rental Contract is requested. Deposits are due within 7 days after a Rental Contract is sent to Renter. Dates and Rates are not guaranteed until the rental contract is signed and the deposit is received.

The Queen Bedroom also has a Pillow-Top Mattress and a great view of Mauna Kea.
The Twin Bedroom has 2 quality mattresses and we also supply a high-quality Queen Aerobed that can be set up in the Great Room or Twin Bedroom.

We just returned from a 10 day stay here and didn't want to come home! The house itself is beautiful and comfortable with pretty decor and a spa-like atmosphere---the master bath is fantastic---and was plenty big enough for our family of four and another couple to stay in with everyone having their own bathrooms. In all honestly, we spent most of our time on the premises as they were so relaxing and inviting that they just were the vacation answer we were looking for. The poolside bar and restaurant has great food with friendly service they also provided us with local tips on secret dive and snorkel spots. Craig the bartender mixes a mean Mai Tai (ask him for his secret specialty drink menu if you're feeling adventurous). The pool itself is great with three different levels and a lava rock waterfall in the middle. Our two year old loved the first level which is 1.5 feet deep and he was swimming by the time we left. The hot tub has a sandy bottom and was surrounded by pretty tropical landscaping. The nearby beaches were terrific as well as the shopping and restaurants within the vicinity. We can't wait to go back!

We recently spent a week at this property and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect on the Sunny Side of the big island. It was a great jumping off point for the day trips we took and was wonderful to come back to. Frankly, I know our kids enjoyed staying at the pool more than anything else. However, if you want to explore there are great beaches nearby with plenty of turtles and fish to see, and of course, there is always the volcano (which our kids enjoyed second best to the pool). The condo itself is very nice and spacious. The entire family enjoyed being able to get some down time without tripping over each other. It is located just far enough from the pool so that you aren't disturbed by any noise but with in easy walking distance. We are definitely looking forward to going back and would highly recommend it.

The week spent here with 5 friends was wonderful! The condo was spacious enough to accommodate 6 women. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was very inviting and on the whole, the condo was very comfortable and relaxing. I especially enjoyed the balcony for my morning coffee. The kitchen was furnished for all of our needs. Needless to say, we did not do much cooking. The resort itself has a wonderful restaurant and the employees are "great fun"! We all enjoyed the pool area. The condo is close to the Hilton and Marriott. The Kings & Queens Courts were handy for groceries & Merriman's was a great restaurant in the Kings Court. I would absolutely go again to this area. It is a very restful place if that is what you are looking for on a vacation.

This was my first visit to the "big island" and what a treat to be able to spend a week at this 5 star condo. The condo had everything a person could want to make a vacation perfect. Large rooms to sleep all of us comfortably, relaxing atmosphere with a Lanai off the dining area and master bedroom, great pool area to swim and relax. The food and service at the pool area was first class and they made us feel at home. I want my husband to have this experience so looking forward to another visit at Hali Kai.

Fabulous place!!! Views were great and very relaxing to sit on the balcony and just veg-out!!! The pool area was absolutely beautiful and the staff at the cafe was very friendly and accommodating. The exercise room in the pool area was super with a view of the ocean.
The location is also convenient to the airport and Kona locations.
All in all, an absolutely fantastic place for a vacation.

Your condo exceeded all of our expectations. Very well furnished - from the awesome beds to the plasma TV's. Location is excellent. The unit overlooks the golf course and has peekaboo views of the ocean. Tennis and basketball courts are right out the door and the pool/bar is a short walk away. The pool area is amazing. Our three kids (ages 2 to 10) loved the waterfall and fountain features. We loved the bar/restaurant!! The views from the pool are stunning - sunset, whales, etc. Also, the workout room has sliders that open on all sides for an unobstructed view of the ocean while you are on the treadmill, etc - an unexpected bonus. We will most definitely be returning to this unit and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!
