Description of the Wailea vacation condo rental

Put us on your "A" List!! You can't spend your entire vacation on the beach, so where better to enjoy the beach down time than in one of the largest condominiums available is south Maui. Our home has the perfect space and confort for a family or group of adults to spread out and relax.

This non-smoking, central air conditioned two level villa like condo is one of only two Polynesian style units at the beautiful Palms at Wailea. The 1,515 sq ft spacious two bedroom, two and a half bath unit is the dream vacation home. Just a short walk to the wonderful snorkeling beaches of Wailea at Keawakapu Beach or a 15 minute walk to the Shops at Wailea.

Enjoy the sunsets and peek-ocean views with your dinner on the large upper lanai or enjoy your favorite book with the ocean and garden views from the lower level lanai.

Vaulted ceilings, rich mahogany cabinets and tropical décor complement the atmosphere surrounding you on The Palms at Wailea grounds and beautiful Wailea area. Your family of six people will have room for everyone to spread out and relax. There is plenty of space even for the boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear in the large laundry and utility room just off the entrance hall.

Walk out of the unit and through the lush gardens by the tranquil waterfall and stream to take a break from the beach and enjoy the whale shaped pool surrounded by palms and spectacular views of the ocean and Kahoolawe Island. Wailea, on Maui's southwest coast, is set beneath 10,000-foot Haleakala, largest dormant volcano on the planet, along a string of pristine beaches. In an area three times the size of Waikiki, you'll find stately homes, condos, and five first-class hotels. Makena, a sleepy little area with a resort of its own, sits just to the south. Views take in the partly submerged volcanic crater of Molokini and the islands of Lanai and Kahoolawe. Paved pathways link the hotels and Wailea Shopping Village. Above the shoreline, the pathway is also a great place for spotting migrating whales in winter or sunset strolls.

Take a snorkel cruise to Molokini and imagine you 're part of a giant aquarium. Rent a bicycle in neighboring Kihei. South of Makena, explore both Makena La Perouse State Park, the island 's largest undeveloped white-sand beach, and Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve, where the lava flow has a strange, moon-like surface. Day-trippers can head upcountry to sample pineapple wine at Tedeschi, the state 's only winery or to Haleakala National Park, with endless views above the clouds, rare plants, and trails into the crater.

We just returned from a 10 night stay in this beautiful home. We Loved It! There were five of us and we had so much room to spread out it was great. I would recommend this place to anybody looking to stay in Wailea. The sunset views on the lanai were terrific. Having your morning coffee and watching the birds were so relaxing. We loved being able to have two full bathrooms and a 1/2 bath so all of us could get ready at the same time. We even found that the Geckos are friendly. I can't express how much fun we had staying here. The owners have done a great job in making sure everything you could need for the beach was here. We had towels, chairs, and snorkel gear, boogie boards, even a sand bucket and shovel for our daughter to play with. We felt that we could go have a fun time on the beach and then when we were all done playing we could come back here and relax. If you have a large family save this is the place to stay! I would even stay here again if it was just me and my husband!
