Home Away From Home! !
October 16, 2014
Bray's Point Beach House should be called Bray's Home Away From Home! We spent 7 days at the beach house for our Honeymoon and we couldn't of asked for a better place to spend it then at the beach house. From the moment we walked in till the moment we checked out it truly felt like a Home Away From Home! The beach house was very clean and neat and huge and just had a very warm and welcome feeling to it. The kitchen was huge well stocked with everything you need from cooking to dining. The only thing you need is to bring food:) The dining room is very big and lots of room for people to eat or play games. Each bedroom has its own unique touch to it. Some of the bonuses to staying at the beach house were: the built in sound system that can be heard through out the whole house, that you can also enjoy while soaking in the hot tub out back. Hot tub another bonus! There are games ,books, movies and cd's provided for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a Telescope and Binoculars provided for people watching or whale watching:) The view is amazing and you are only a few steps away from the beach out the back door. Albert Bray the owner is a wonderful, kind man and we really enjoyed visiting with him during our stay:) The only down fall to our stay was that the 7 days went by so fast and we had to leave :( We would definitely recommend the beach house to all of our friends and family. We will definitely be back next year! If you want a wonderful place to stay and create new memories with friends or family, or maybe just a romantic getaway Bray's Beach House is definitely the spot! It truly is a Home Away From Home!
Well guys , that is how you make the woman happy! As they say, a happy wife is a happy life!! So, sweep her off her feet and carry her down to the beach and you've got it made! We have had several people spend their Honeymoon here and several people have gotten married at Bray's Point; and countless more have spent their anniversaries at Bray's Point! What a way to start a life or renew vows!!
Admiral Charlie is always on duty to tip a glass of wine to your happiness!! Cheers!!!!
Beautiful Beach Views from almost every room!

My husband & I stayed here on a long weekend & enjoyed it. The home is large and well stocked. All you need is your food. There are gorgeous views of the beach from the living room, dining room, & kitchen. The steps down to the beach are very accessible. I loved the jacuzzi tub as well as the beautiful stone walk in shower which is also wheelchair accessible. There are puzzles, music, movies, a hot tub and lots to do. We will definitely be back and bringing more family to fill up the big house.
That is what we strive for --five stars! The Admiral tries to run a tight ship! Again, it seems to be the magic of Big Stump Beach ---6 miles of sand and the 180 degree view from the living room. It is nice to be able to keep an eye on the kids playing on the beach from the living room or yard! One thing I haven't heard much about is the fire-ring in the ocean side yard---lots of people use it! And the house is laid out in a unique way; wheelchair accessiblity is important!

This is a perfect venue for our girl's retreat! The house is perfect for the big group! I love that it's steps from the beach! Thanks Albert!
Yes , we are set up for "big" groups; now with the "Crab Shack" finished (4th bedroom) and the RV dry camp we can handle 19! (and children under two don't count in the total); But there is something about the Beach that has a calming affect on women! Everything goes better at the Beach!!!! Come back soon!!

This house is a perfect family getaway! Three kitchen tables make it awesome fun for game night! Albert is great to work with! My friends and family have been and will be repeat customers! (7 times) Thank you Albert!
That is what we like to hear! Satisfied guests is what it is all about! But I think it is more than the tables that make BraysPoint the place they keep coming back to for their getaway. How about the 6 miles of sandy beach, the low bank to get to the beach - 9 steps? How about the ocean front hot tub?
There is so much at BraysPoint that it is hard to tell what it is -- I think it is the whole package; but whatever it is we like people that keep coming back! See you soon!!

Home away from home

My family couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for vacation on the coast. The house, beach access, and the numerous amenities Mr. Bray provided has made what my son's refer to as a "home away from home". We really enjoyed our stay there and look forward to coming back.
Thanks, Just what we like to hear!!! We keep trying to make your stay better; It just can't get much better -- the house is just a small part ---it's the great beach access and miles of white sand; 180 degree views from the living room ---it's the beach!! Everything goes better at the KOST!!!

We stayed for a week with my family and it was a great experience. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay and the view / beach access was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back with our family next year.

Family of 12 Great Summer Vacation

Much more than we could have hoped for. Mr. Bray has provided every detail and amenity possible. All we needed for our stay was food. With 6 adults and 6 grandkids, the beach house was perfect for sleeping space and kitchen area. The grandkids really liked the fire pit, hot tub and ping pong table. We all enjoyed the easy beach access and views from the house. We have stayed on the Oregon coast many times and places. This was by far the best all around experience we have ever had on the coast as a family. Everyone was planning on next year before we left.

The best Xmas of all times

My family totally enjoyed our time in this fantastic home. Right on the beach, just a few steps to the beach. We had seven adults and two dogs. Room for everyone. Everything you need is furnished by owner (linens, towels, dishes, etc.). There are games and puzzles, TV's in all bedrooms and living room. Lots of dining area. We all just kicked back and had a great time visiting, eating and playing games together. It was fantastic. We were totally surprised by the weather. It was like it was just waiting for us to be there. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone who just needs to relax with friends and family. Plus it's not far from a lot of exciting site seeing adventures. The shopping is great too. So to Albert Bray, fantastic home. Glad you have made this available for other people to share.
Nice family coastal place to stay

I enjoyed our ladies retreat at Bray's Point. The customer service and beach front access is unbeatable. I highly recommend this location for a family rental.

This place fit our medium sized group perfectly. The bedroom and bed arrangement was exactly what we needed. The beach access was as good as it gets. Our two little old ladies in their eighties can't do stairs anymore and this low level access allowed them to go out on the beach without even thinking about. The hot tub was a nice extra. If you can't tell from the pictures, the Kitchen, Dining and Living rooms are large and every view is right at ocean level. The master bedroom and bath were close to luxurious. The main shower was the most popular feature in the house.

All the comforts of Home without the demands!
January 9, 2013
This beach house was perfect for our get together! It had everything we needed, and provided so much spaciousness, wonderful views, and all the necessities to make our trip perfect! It is wheelchair accessible, the hot tub was relaxing and inviting, the rooms were themed and welcoming, and the living space of the livingroom, diningroom and kitchen allowed for everyone to be in the same location without being underfoot! There are lots of games and puzzles, and with 3 tables and chairs in the diningroom, everyone could have a seat and relax! We used the ping pong table and had some great games, the access to the beach was quick and easy, allowing for walks and beach combing as often as you choose! There are 3 bathrooms and bathing facilities so no need to wait! All appliances functioned smoothly, and we never ran out of anything! I would highly recommend this get away, and the owner/caregiver are wonderful to work with! We look forward to coming back and building more special memories!

Words Cannot Describe!
October 11, 2012
The pictures of this home do not do justice. We had a gathering of 6 adults. A couple of the 6 liked the home from the pictures, 3 others did not. We went ahead and rented. Most concern was regading 3 bathrooms and 1 shower. The shower was one of the very most pleasant experiences ever. Each of the bathrooms had a good sized tub, also. Two of the bedrooms have bathrooms in them, the third bathroom is in the hall and so is the shower. We were especially pleased with the crab cookerr and BBQ on site.. We crabbed at Alsea Bay which is 10 minutes from this home. There are lots of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses. Plenty of refrigerator space (2) of them. Lots of beach wood for our fire at night. The hot tub was incredibly clean and well maintained. The beach was about 20 steps or less from the door. We crabbed, got mussles, put together puzzles, read, took naps, long walks on the beach, talked till we could talk no more. Parking was excellent even with the boat. We had no problems with the house or performance of anything in the house but I know that had we a problem, it would have been handled quickly. The coast is beautiful in this area. Lots to see and do. Mr. Bray reccommended a restaurant in Yachts, which is 10 min. or so away. Ist is a resort restaurant and the food was wonderful and sitting at the glass windows with a glass of wine and watching the sun set was exquisite. Talking about sunsets...The home is quite the place to view sunsets. Glass all around. What a wonderful time our group had. I am rambling, but hope you get the feel for what a great place this is. We want to make this an annual trip and will stay at this home, away from home. (washer and dryer allowed us to pack less and they worked well)

This house was very cozy and extremely welcoming. We had a wonderful time. Never a dull moment :)
Thank you Lisa, I just had the people who are in the house at the moment come into my shop (Yachats Lighthouse Gift Shop) and told me that they really were pleased with the layout of the house and the lowbank beach; they got in last night and are in for a great stay here on the beautiful Oregon Kost!

Love Bray's Point

This is a lovely home. The owner takes great care to make sure that any and everything you might need is there. The house is roomy, great for beach watching, or if you want to get to the beach the access is very nice. We look forward to spending many more summers at this home. This would also be a great house to rent in the winter for storm watching. Highly recommend.

Bray's Point Beach House, Waldport, Oregon

Great place for a family visit to the Oregon coast - for us, 8 adults, 4 kids (2-5 years) plus a baby. We spent 2 nights over Labor Day weekend. Large kitchen, huge dining area, giant windows in the great room overlooking the beach with a few steps down to the sand using their private steps. 3 bedrooms: one with 2 queens, one with a futon under twin bunk bed plus a twin (so sleeps 4, but it's cozy), and the master with a king. We brought an aerobed to put one couple in the living room instead of using the pull out couch. One minor downside is that there is only one shower (but very large with two showerheads); however, there is also a full bath with tub (no shower) and a half bath. Great hot tub so you can warm up after a splash in the cold Pacific. Fenced yard with 3 gates to contain smaller kids, which worked great for us. We used the barbeque, crab cooker and ping pong table in the garage. Although we did not see our hosts (Albert, the owner, and George, the caretaker), George called to check in several times, and Albert was very responsive via e-mail. They were also willing to work with us on leaving late for a few bucks more, since there was no one checking in right after us, so we got an extra half day. Poor cell coverage, but local phone use is free. Wireless internet provided as well - not super fast, but, hey - it's vacation!! All in all, a great place. We'll likely be going back.

Bray's Point is all that is advertised! We ahd a great time, the house is fabulous. Well furnished. Everything you need. Hope we can come back again.

THE best week ever!
July 22, 2011
Our family and our friends had an incredible week in Waldport at Bray's Point. The home more than adequately suited the nine people and two dogs. The home had all the necessary amenities, furnishings, and linens. Not to mention the game room and crab-cooker. We went crabbing two days, hit the sand dunes in Florence, relaxed on the beach just steps from the house, flew kits, had bon fires on the beach and campfires in the fire ring in the back yard. I can not recommend this home and location enough. We will definately go back!!

This was the perfect extended family vacation home. All the amenities of a regular home. Clean and well-cared for. RIGHT on the beach. The owners and caretakers are thoughtful and accommodating. All five adults, two kids, and two dogs would definitely come back.

Our stay at Bray's Point was beyond expectations. It was perfect for a large family group. The beach offered miles of recreation and scenery. The house was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The hot tub was a nice ending to long beach walks on blustery days. We would love to stay there again.
March 30, 2010
We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. Other than no cell phone reception which really could be considered a blessing in some ways. We hope to come back again.
March 13, 2010
Great house with low beach access. The weather was warm and sunny everyday. The common area is very large and great for a group. Tons of space inside and out with lots of huge ocean facing windows makes it feel very open. We're defintely coming back in 2010.
Coming back next year! see testimonials at brayspoint web page
