Nice family coastal place to stay

I enjoyed our ladies retreat at Bray's Point. The customer service and beach front access is unbeatable. I highly recommend this location for a family rental.

This house is perfect for our annual getaway. It's a scenic spot on the coast. The house is very nice at a great price. The jacuzzi is great! The owner is delightful. We come back every year and have sent several friends albert's way as well. Definite recommend!

This place fit our medium sized group perfectly. The bedroom and bed arrangement was exactly what we needed. The beach access was as good as it gets. Our two little old ladies in their eighties can't do stairs anymore and this low level access allowed them to go out on the beach without even thinking about. The hot tub was a nice extra. If you can't tell from the pictures, the Kitchen, Dining and Living rooms are large and every view is right at ocean level. The master bedroom and bath were close to luxurious. The main shower was the most popular feature in the house.

All the comforts of Home without the demands!

This beach house was perfect for our get together! It had everything we needed, and provided so much spaciousness, wonderful views, and all the necessities to make our trip perfect! It is wheelchair accessible, the hot tub was relaxing and inviting, the rooms were themed and welcoming, and the living space of the livingroom, diningroom and kitchen allowed for everyone to be in the same location without being underfoot! There are lots of games and puzzles, and with 3 tables and chairs in the diningroom, everyone could have a seat and relax! We used the ping pong table and had some great games, the access to the beach was quick and easy, allowing for walks and beach combing as often as you choose! There are 3 bathrooms and bathing facilities so no need to wait! All appliances functioned smoothly, and we never ran out of anything! I would highly recommend this get away, and the owner/caregiver are wonderful to work with! We look forward to coming back and building more special memories!

Words Cannot Describe!

The pictures of this home do not do justice. We had a gathering of 6 adults. A couple of the 6 liked the home from the pictures, 3 others did not. We went ahead and rented. Most concern was regading 3 bathrooms and 1 shower. The shower was one of the very most pleasant experiences ever. Each of the bathrooms had a good sized tub, also. Two of the bedrooms have bathrooms in them, the third bathroom is in the hall and so is the shower. We were especially pleased with the crab cookerr and BBQ on site.. We crabbed at Alsea Bay which is 10 minutes from this home. There are lots of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses. Plenty of refrigerator space (2) of them. Lots of beach wood for our fire at night. The hot tub was incredibly clean and well maintained. The beach was about 20 steps or less from the door. We crabbed, got mussles, put together puzzles, read, took naps, long walks on the beach, talked till we could talk no more. Parking was excellent even with the boat. We had no problems with the house or performance of anything in the house but I know that had we a problem, it would have been handled quickly. The coast is beautiful in this area. Lots to see and do. Mr. Bray reccommended a restaurant in Yachts, which is 10 min. or so away. Ist is a resort restaurant and the food was wonderful and sitting at the glass windows with a glass of wine and watching the sun set was exquisite. Talking about sunsets...The home is quite the place to view sunsets. Glass all around. What a wonderful time our group had. I am rambling, but hope you get the feel for what a great place this is. We want to make this an annual trip and will stay at this home, away from home. (washer and dryer allowed us to pack less and they worked well)

This house was very cozy and extremely welcoming. We had a wonderful time. Never a dull moment :)
Thank you Lisa, I just had the people who are in the house at the moment come into my shop (Yachats Lighthouse Gift Shop) and told me that they really were pleased with the layout of the house and the lowbank beach; they got in last night and are in for a great stay here on the beautiful Oregon Kost!

This is a lovely home. The owner takes great care to make sure that any and everything you might need is there. The house is roomy, great for beach watching, or if you want to get to the beach the access is very nice. We look forward to spending many more summers at this home. This would also be a great house to rent in the winter for storm watching. Highly recommend.

Bray's Point Beach House, Waldport, Oregon

Great place for a family visit to the Oregon coast - for us, 8 adults, 4 kids (2-5 years) plus a baby. We spent 2 nights over Labor Day weekend. Large kitchen, huge dining area, giant windows in the great room overlooking the beach with a few steps down to the sand using their private steps. 3 bedrooms: one with 2 queens, one with a futon under twin bunk bed plus a twin (so sleeps 4, but it's cozy), and the master with a king. We brought an aerobed to put one couple in the living room instead of using the pull out couch. One minor downside is that there is only one shower (but very large with two showerheads); however, there is also a full bath with tub (no shower) and a half bath. Great hot tub so you can warm up after a splash in the cold Pacific. Fenced yard with 3 gates to contain smaller kids, which worked great for us. We used the barbeque, crab cooker and ping pong table in the garage. Although we did not see our hosts (Albert, the owner, and George, the caretaker), George called to check in several times, and Albert was very responsive via e-mail. They were also willing to work with us on leaving late for a few bucks more, since there was no one checking in right after us, so we got an extra half day. Poor cell coverage, but local phone use is free. Wireless internet provided as well - not super fast, but, hey - it's vacation!! All in all, a great place. We'll likely be going back.

THE best week ever!
July 22, 2011
Our family and our friends had an incredible week in Waldport at Bray's Point. The home more than adequately suited the nine people and two dogs. The home had all the necessary amenities, furnishings, and linens. Not to mention the game room and crab-cooker. We went crabbing two days, hit the sand dunes in Florence, relaxed on the beach just steps from the house, flew kits, had bon fires on the beach and campfires in the fire ring in the back yard. I can not recommend this home and location enough. We will definately go back!!

This was the perfect extended family vacation home. All the amenities of a regular home. Clean and well-cared for. RIGHT on the beach. The owners and caretakers are thoughtful and accommodating. All five adults, two kids, and two dogs would definitely come back.

Our stay at Bray's Point was beyond expectations. It was perfect for a large family group. The beach offered miles of recreation and scenery. The house was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The hot tub was a nice ending to long beach walks on blustery days. We would love to stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. Other than no cell phone reception which really could be considered a blessing in some ways. We hope to come back again.

Great house with low beach access. The weather was warm and sunny everyday. The common area is very large and great for a group. Tons of space inside and out with lots of huge ocean facing windows makes it feel very open. We're defintely coming back in 2010.
