Owner's reply:

It was a pleasure hosting you and welcome your return anytime! Remember, the cottage is heated with our adorable and easy to use cozy gas stove in addition to its clean hot air by gas heat. It's been a very busy first season for us so I apologize for my delayed response as I am just catching my breath :)
Have a wonderful, healthy & fun winter! Hope to cross paths again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can you kayak, paddle board or windsurf at Pinehurst Beach?
A: Yes! Bring your kayak, paddle board or wind surfer, OR stop at Eastern Mountain Sports in Buzzards Bay and rent!
Our cottage is literally a stones throw from Pinehurst Beach, a perfect location for beginners and experienced to enjoy water sports.
Q: Is there any night life near Pinehurst Beach?
A: Yes! Just a few miles away, at Onset Beach Pier is the famous Canal Cruises. Take advantage of a fun sunset cruise, a dinner and dancing cruise, or a family friendly make your own "Ice Cream Sunday" cruise along the Cape Cod Canal!
Also, take advantage of free local outdoor summer concert series at nearby Buzzards Bay Park, or Onset Band Stand.
Q: Is there any good bike riding trails nearby?
A: Yes! Bring your bikes and take a ride along Cape Cod Canal, or take the Shining Sea Bike Trail, through the scenic town of Falmouth. There's also the Cape Cod Rail Trail which starts in South Dennis, and takes you on 22 miles of paved trails all the way to Wellfleet! If you've got bikes, we've got safe riding trails! There's also bike rentals in Buzzards Bay.
Q: What day trip suggestions are easily accesible from Pinehurst Beach?
A: Get up early and head for Woods Hole, Falmouth and hop on the Island Queen Boat to Martha's Vineyard. Bring your bikes or buy a bus pass once on the island. Or, hop in your car and head for Route 6 towards Provincetown, home of famous artists and one of New England's oldest Portuguese fishing villages. For a more scenic route, take Route 6A-Old Kings Highway-to see quintessential cape cod style architecture, all the way down to the Orleans rotary and keep going until you hit Provincetown! Great food, shops and sights to see. Climb Pilgrim Monument for spectacular views!
Either trip is easily done in a day, with plenty of time to enjoy sights and be back to the cottage to comfortably settle in for the night.
