Wonderful Stay

The cottage was perfect. The beach was clean and pier was easily accessable. The lake itself was not very busy during this weekend. Great local restaurants to eat at after a long day on the water. Very clean and owner was just a phone call away and was very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Little Barbee hiden gem

Very nice cottage, lake front and dock area. So much fun boating though the 7 Barbee chain lakes. Than an extra pleaure was going up Grassy Creek, using the lock and damm and going all the way to Pie Eyed Petey's on Tippy Lake. We will be back to go after some of the big fish in the area Lakes. We were treated great every were we stopped.

This cottage was exquisite. Clean, tastefully decorated and all the amenities of lake living at your fingertips. A nice pier, beach area for children nearby, firepit, all seasons room and a deck with a porch swing. Absolutely fell in love with the place. Landlord very attentative to our needs as well. The view of the lake was beautiful. Can not say enough good about our time there. Looking forward to doing it again next summer. This was a rare find. Parking is tight only thing that I would say as far as a negative and it was not a big deal unless you would have lots of company. This reminded me of my days growing up and remembering the vacations as a child. Loved, Loved, Loved it.

Kay and her family were great! They left everything is tip top condition. So happy they enjoyed their time at the cottage. Since purchasing the cottage last September, we are constantly making improvements. Additional parking can be available, and with the new sewer systems coming, there will be room for 2 cars and a trailer, etc.

Wow. Where to start. For this being our first experience with Vacation Home Rentals, it couldn't have been easier. The owners were so awesome. The cottage was so much bigger than I thought it would be and it was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the different themed rooms as well. It is hard to express in words how fantastic our stay was. We are originally from the area and were amazed with the area in which we stayed. Close enough to the lake to have a nice stroll or swim. Awesome and friendly neighbors. All the luxuries of home. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Our grown children, both boys, were with us and even they were impressed and it's hard to impress grown men. We come to Indiana every year for reunions and are so very much hoping to use one of the cottages again. Tennis courts, basketball courts, boat rentals of all sorts. All the amenities you could wish and hope for. Definitely did not want for something to do. No boredom whatsoever. I would recommend using Vacation Home Rentals to anyone. Thanks so much for an awesome vacation. Words can not express how pleased we are.

Little Piece o' Paradise

What a pleasant place! We were there on Memorial Day weekend and even with the "crowd" it was a great getaway. We did stay an extra day and you could hear a pin drop...peaceful hardly describes it. The cottage was clean as can be...we've all been to places that are not kept up well...that ain't this place people! If I would have had a white glove with me, it would have passed the test. I can speak with confidence that this place will satisfy your getaway urges. While they don't actually have wi-fi there, we were able to find a couple of friendly neighborhood connections that kept us on line. Verizon cell phones work very well there...so you may be in the boonies but you won't be out of touch--unless you want to be!
