Central Air Conditioning.Backyard deck with a million dollar view of the Nottawasaga River, Nottawasaga Bay and Collingwood. Amazing sunsets.Sandy beach at end of property.

Rainy Weekend Awesomeness!

This mansion/cottage was used for a bachelorette get away weekend and although it rained non stop the weekend was still awesome! They owners were so nice and very helpful when communicating with them. They were very punctual in our dealings and always sent an email notification every time they did something. They even came over to make sure everything in the house was fine and brought a complimentary gift then stayed and joked with us a little. The house itself was gorgeous! It had a great view inside and out. It fit all 8 of us comfortably and there was lots of room for dancing! The location was perfect as well! We were only a 5 minute drive from the main strip yet we were out of the way enough to not get bothered by anyone. We all plan on hopefully coming back some day soon cause it was a great trip! I thank vacation home rentals for helping me find this place!!

Dream beach house

If I could have my own beach house it would be just like this one. This house is gorgeous and full equipped. It has modern amenities but keeps in line with the beach house feel. When we arrived we found the house clean and in good repair. Shortly after our arrival the owners called to check in on us and made sure we made it up alright. They also made a brief appearance to drop off some additional chairs. During their visit they were very friendly and not at all intrusive. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen tools and beautiful appliances. The bedrooms very simple and tastefully decorated. There were plenty of spare blankets for watching movies on the sofa and we were pleasantly surprised when we found an abundance of VHS movies. That's right, I said VHS! There were also some board games, kids toys, beach toys, a bike and a telescope! From the beautiful wooden table, to the steam room, to the wine decanters, this house is a cottage with class. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who cringes at the thought of roughing it. Hopefully my family and I will be back for another visit.

Mary we would love to thank you for a wonderful stay at your cottage. It was most definitely home away from home with the personal touch and warmth that you gave the house. We were 2 couples and 3 kids in total and it was so spacious. Our favourite was having a glass of wine watching the sunset over the water every evening. I have a wonderful picture of the sunset that I have saved on my desktop. We have found without a doubt our summer and winter vacation spot. We look forward to visiting again this winter for the snowmobile trails and skiing. Thanks for the memories and I hope all your future guests will enjoy as much as we did.
