Description of the Washington vacation home rental
This historical home in the center of Georgetown is the perfect place to celebrate and experience this momentus occasion in history. Recently renovated the first floor features grand entertaining spaces with 12' celings, serene decor and french doors that open off the living room onto your private landscaped English garden & fountain. The second floor features a large bedroom with two twin beds and ensuite full bath as well as the library with floor to ceiling bookshelves and 70" plasma with surround sound which also has a seperate full bath. The third floor features the very large master bedroom and bath with a huge bay window with views of the monuments. continue down the hall to the cozy (small) bedroom with queen bed that looks onto the back garden. The kitchen and bathrooms were all renovated last year with granite, marble and polished nickel fixtures.
We are two blocks from all the Georgetown shops and restaurants, the C&O Canal and the Potomac River.
Area Description
Georgetown may as well be the perfect place to celebrate the inauguration of the United States 44th president, Borack Obama. Home to Washington's political elite from George & Martha Washington, JFK, Jackie Kennedy, Katherine Graham, Pamela Harriman, Sally Quinn, Bill Bradlee to John Kerry, George Stephanopolous, John Edwards, Mark Penn and many, many others. This is THE place to be in January 2009.
