As a small rental service provider, the Washingtonville Getaway will be removed from listing upon acceptance of deposit. Guests failing to come as scheduled limits the property owner's ability to rent. For this reason, deposit and refund rules are strictly observed.

Other Fees: Plus cleaning fee of $100.

Great property

June 18, 2012

We stayed at this property for our son's West Point graduation and it was ideal. It was close to campus and had everything that we needed. We had 12 family members staying at the home. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and showers, including all of the comforts to make everyone feel at home. The kitchen was large and was fully equipped. We were able to do laundry during the week and there was plenty of parking for our 4 rental cars. We had fun playing ping pong down in the game/exercise room. The owners were very accomodative and helpful. Thanks for making our special event memorable!

spacious get-a-way

April 3, 2012

It is a lovely house, spacious and comfortable . The lay-out of the kitchen allows several people to work on meals at once without getting in each others way and there is lots of counter space to work on. We spent most of our time talking and catching up, but if we were there longer we would have definately enjoyed watching a movie in the media room, which looked really comfortable and well-equipped. We showed photos of vacations some of us had taken and the office with the computer was a great place for this. The area the house is located in is quiet and we all slept very well; the comforters on the beds are really cozy. The Storm King Art Center is really close to the house; you would probably enjoy it there, but perhaps not in the winter .there were 7 of us but this house could definately fit 10 adults and a few children easily. We never felt crowded and we could have several activities going on at the same time without interfering with each other. As the house is quite large with high ceilings it was a bit chilly at first, as we went in the later Fall, but it did warm up and it was a rather cold evening. We did wish, however, the hot tub was still set up for use. We really enjoyed our visit to this house.

Big Beautiful House

This house is larger than we expected. Once you get inside it is breathe taking. Elegantly decorated with care taken to make each room unique. Plenty of parking for cars out front. The kitchen is massive and allowed for a great group cooking session. The owners are very kind and can help to accommodate special needs a group has or unique circumstances. I wish i found out about this house earlier and would have rented it out multiple times for all occassions.

House was even better than expected. Master bedroom is amazing. Renters were very helpful and had the driveway plowed without asking them to do so. Great weekend, hopefully well be back again.
