Description of the Watauga Lake vacation cabin rental

Hidden Cove – Three bedroom Sleeps nine: This three story custom log home was constructed summer 2007 with lots of decking overlooking the lake. Three bedrooms total, 2 1/2 baths, central heating and air conditioning with the ability to sleep 9 comfortably. A king in the master, Queen in the second bedroom and the third bedroom offers a twin and full sized bed to accommodate a couple or kids. All linens, towels, bedding, dishes and utensils provided.
Hidden Cove is just over 2000 sq ft, three stories includes the master bedroom suite, lots of decking, outdoor grill, Fire Pit and hot tub. Grilling utensils and bake ware make cooking a pleasure indoors or out. Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, toaster, crock pot, microwave, wine opener) and laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The living room area offers beautiful wood work, lots of glass, stone fireplace and glass doors opening up on deck where you’ll have a warm bubbling Hot tub! Just off the deck is a large stone fire pit perfect for romantic evenings, roasting marsh-mellows or grilling dogs.
Lake and river access, boat slip and canoe.

Area Information

As it’s named Hidden Cove is in a quiet area on Watauga Lake with spectacular panoramic views of the Cherokee National Forest and the Watauga River Gorge – one of America’s cleanest waterways.
Watauga lake sits on the TN/NC state line and is very close to Virgina.
Lots of great vacation villages to visit.
Secluded and private yet offers great access to near-by vacation villages like Blowing ROck, Boone, Banner Elk and Lineville NC.
Nearby local restaurants, hiking, Lake access, canoe, wild life, fishing and boat rentals.

great place with fantastic views

Had a great time here. Views of the Lake & Mountains were just gorgeous. Had complimentary canoes that took us down the river & into the Cherokee National Forest. Lots of caves, water falls and wild life, even saw an Eagle. This cabin was clean, will equiped with dishes, towels, appliances & loved the hot tub and out door fire pit. We'll be back.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Hidden Cove was everything we expected and more. Clean and had everything we needed down to the wine opener. Nice linens and towels too. We enjoyed our view and cooking on deck. At night we relaxed in our private hot tub. It was very nice being able to get a way and enjoy ourselves. We loved it and we'll be back!
