Welcome to The Raven This three story cedar cabin was constructed summer 2006 with three levels of balconies and decks. 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath with central heating and air conditioning & the potential to sleep up to 12. Hilltop towering over Watauga Lake with spectacular panoramic views of the Cherokee National Forest and the Watauga River Gorge – one of America’s cleanest waterways. All linens, towels, bedding, dishes and utensils provided as well as a hair dryer.
On the outside
On the main level is a huge outdoor 10 person hot tub secluded on the side deck. On the lakeside front deck you have comfortable aluminum mesh chairs and side tables along with a picnic table. The back deck and third floor balcony overlook rolling fields, and woods with a large gas grill hardwired so you never run out of propane & sliding glass door to deck right from the kitchen. The Raven features a large outdoor fire pit with built in seating perfect for roasting marshmallows or cooking hot dogs over an open flame..
On the inside
The great room has 3 leather sofas (one is a queen sleeper), stereo jam box and singing “Buck” the talking deer! Great for entertaining kids and fun for the adults to sing along with... Large plasma flat screen TV/DVD mounted above huge stone fireplace with gas logs adds a cozy, romantic feel... Enjoy spectacular views of lake and mountains from the living area and all bedrooms. This Cabin has dark stained wood accents throughout, Tennessee fieldstone on mantle and Kitchen Island, beautiful black walnut hardwood floors on main level and carpet in all bedrooms.
Grilling utensils and bake ware make cooking a pleasure indoors or out. Full sized kitchen is equipped with all the appliances dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, blender, toaster, crock pot, microwave, wine opener, can opener, 12 cup coffee maker, laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The master bedroom suite is fit for a king, with over 1000 sq ft featuring a entire wall of Pella windows lake side, vaulted ceiling and large ceiling fan on one side and a private balcony on the opposite side gorgeous views of the country side. These panoramic views are second to none. Books can be found in the lounge area of the master bedroom suite, which is roomy enough to set up a port-a-crib. There is also a queen sleeper sofa.You also have your own TV and DVD player. .
The other three the bedrooms (queen, queen, bunk bed) open up lakeside with “Pella” glass sliding doors onto a large deck.

The Raven sits where Watauga Lake & Watauga River intersect with spectacular panoramic views of the Cherokee National Forest and the Watauga River Gorge – one of America’s cleanest waterways.
Watauga lake sits on the TN/NC state line and is very close to Virgina.

Secluded and private yet offers great access to near-by vacation villages like Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk and Lineville NC.
