Description of the Watauga Lake vacation cottage rental

Lakeside with silver tin roof and arbor that lights at night. It is secluded by pine trees and embankment, sitting on the shore line of Watauga Lake with Boat Slip and Canoe - ideal for those who plan on making their vacation all about the water. This one bedroom has the ability to sleep up to four utilizing a fold out couch. 500 sq. ft. heated and air-conditioned with a deck, Hot Tub and Grill. Outdoor Hot Tub is secluded in a beautiful gazebo looking out over the water. Sleeping arrangements include Queen Bed in the master bedroom, sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic get-a-way but can also accommodate a couple of last minute guests you may invite. Large outdoor grill with plenty of grilling utensils makes cooking-out the ideal choice. Indoor kitchen has stove, refrigerator, pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided as well as. In the bath room you’ll even find a hair dryer. Satellite TV/DVD.

A Bit of Heaven

This place is the best place we have ever vacationed at. We spent 11 nights here and it was wonderful. The cabin was clean and had everything you need except food. Stop and bring some as it is a drive to any large store. Melody and Rose were very helpful. I am a fisherman and brought my boat. it was safe and secure with all equipment left in it. We spent 75% of the time just sitting on the porch enjoying the views. Dry Hill General store has some supplies and serves great meals. This lake is just beautiful, a bit of Heaven!! We had a swan named we named Sally that came for a handout each morning and evening. Only a few steps to be in or on the water. If you want peace and quiet, beauty and relaxation this is the place. We hope to return in the fall.

I had a great stay at Bass bungalow. The cottage has all you need for a relaxed vacation. The area around the lake is very beautiful and clean. It is pretty far from grocery stores so you need to bring down food before you get there(about 16 miles round trip from the nearest large store). I'd rent it again in a minute.
