Description of the Waterboro vacation home rental

This waterfront, fully furnished, year round house located on a quiet secluded peninsula sits directly on Lake Arrowhead in Southern Maine. A real charming post and beam cottage style home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed. There are two twin beds in a loft area and a futon in the finished basement. Perfect for multiple families. Sleeps 8-10 comfortably. A fully finished basement stays a comfortable 65 degrees year round. It is a great place to escape the summer heat or for the kids to play. A washer and dryer are also provided.

The large deck overlooks the lake with a 180 degree view of the water through the pines. A perfect place to drink your morning coffee or watch a beautiful sunset. Also includes use of a very stable flat bottom aluminum row boat (along with several adult and children’s life jackets), canoe, water noodles, floating chairs, dock, swim to water raft, gas grill, fire pit and 270+ft water frontage with great swimming and a shallow wade in beach area. Lake Arrowhead is famous for its fantastic bass fishing. Boat launch is less than 5 minutes away!

A fire pit sits just feet from the lake. A great place to tell stories and roast marshmallows with the kids.

4 seasons of activities from swimming, fishing, boating, biking, hiking, snowmobiling, ice skating, cross country skiing and ice fishing are at your doorstep. The house is centrally located between the ocean in the summer and mountains for skiing in the winter. In the fall the entire area has beautiful foliage. Making it a perfect place to make day trips from.

Deposits: June, July, August and September rentals are from Saturday- Saturday and off season rentals can be Friday-Friday to accommodate two night weekend stays. $300 refundable security damage deposit with each stay. 50% of rental fee due within upon booking to hold reservation with balance and security deposit due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation policy outlined in agreement. Primary renters must be over 25. There is an additional 7% lodging tax
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Personal Check
Other Fees: Pets are welcome on a case by case basis. There is a $75.00 fee for each pet with a minimum $100.00 refundable damage deposit per pet.

Little heaven in Maine

We were very surprised by the well maintained house. you will have everything you need in this place. We came when the temperatures were beginning to cool down and we had everything we need. We kayaked for hours, sat around the firepit, and at night when the temperatures were too low we went inside with a very well working heating system. Showers that fit my husbands length, and good beds was all we needed. Our dog loved this place, she was able to run around, play in the water. We had a great time.

This cottage isplaced on a very quiet lake at the end of the lane. Absolutely no traffic and very little activity on the lake. Our experience here was perfect. The owners are next door and they were helpful throughout our stay. We would reccomend this to everyone.

Incredible, quiet and peaceful stay on Lake Arrowhead in Waterboro, Maine. My family and I had the most incredible visit recently. The house was immaculate, owners met us there on our arrival to show us around and make us feel very welcome! Just 5 minutes down the road brought us to the most incredible blueberry picking!
