Excellent, in spite of the weather!

The house and the location can't be beaten. Right in the dunes, with a view of the ocean, in a gated community at the end of Beach Road, with a city at the other end. 20 miles of sandy beach awaits, with the rollers crashing in, the pelicans flying by, and the dolphins and seals in the water. What could be better!

peace and quiet

From the outside it seems like a plain house but the inside is beautiful..Me and my family enjoyed the house and the scenery very much. The house had eveything that you need except for a iron and iron board but from the kitchen to bedrooms and even beach stuff it was thier. It was really a plus that we were actually a few steps away from the beach and everybody was friendly in the private community. My children enjoyed it very much. I would definitely stay again and a couple of days longer just so that we can really enjoy the house and the beach more. I give this a thumbs up...:)

We had a wonderful weekend at 17 Plover Circle, even though it rained, the wood burning stove was perfect for sitting around, talking, drinking coco & relaxing. The ONLY bad thing about the weekend was the fact that there wasn't an even moderately decent vegetable peeler available & no dish rag. Other than that, perfection!!

We were so surprised at how well this house is set up. We brought extra stuff that we didn't need because this place had it all. It was like we rented this house every month. It was comfortable for the whole family. The view is great on both sides of the house. Easy access to the beach and nicely secluded. We would definitely recommend this house and plan to stay there again.

Making Memories

Our family spent Christmas at the Plover beach house this year. We all agreed that this was one of the most memorable holidays ever. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. We had fun relaxing in the family room that was cozy with a wood stove to keep us warm. It was wonderful to be able to walk right onto the beach just a few steps off the back porch. We would definitely like to do this again!

Although I spent a week at Yosemite and the waterfalls were absolutely spectacular, the weekend at your beach house was so very much more relaxing and rejuvenating!! From "hanging" on the beach, to watching the gulls take-off and landing at the point where the slough goes to the ocean, to simply biking around the spectacular California beach houses - all these gave me the tranquility and peace that a vacation should be!! Not mention the local fresh food... mmmm! And the amazing oceanic wonders of the Monterey Bay are simply unlike anywhere else! I also recommend kayaking the bay & sloughs to see the otters and sea lions up close!

We rented this house for a home on the beach for a small family reunion. The owners are wonderful. The house is terrific. I could have sat and watched the view all day. The house was comfortable and stocked with anything you could possibly need. This was a five star visit for all of us. We couldn't have been more pleased.
