Mountain Cabin with Stunning Views! Enjoy the ever changing views of Jonothan Creek Valley from the top of Whispering Winds. This nearly new beauty features Tounge and groove natural wood throughout which makes this log cabin warm but open and light. Vaulted ceiling great room with rock fireplace and wraparound decking maximize the view. Sleeping loft offers 2nd bed, dresser, futon mattress and a full size air mattress. low cieling height in the Loft area but room enough to sleep the whole gang. Access through large master suite. Huge closet in Master Bedroom. Master Bath even has a urinal as well as a private Loo that's handicap compliant. The Great Room has a 42" Sharp LCDHD TV and a 6 disc surround Stereo, and lots of movies on hand for your enjoyment after a full day of romping in the mountains. The Kitchen has every convienence you will need and also has full view of the Great Room and the Mountains beyond.
So relaxing you'll wish you could stay forever!

From US 19 (Dellwood Ave.)go north on 276 about 1 mile (look for Mountain Fever Real Estate sign), right on Whispering Winds, stay to right at driveways to top. Nearby attractions include, Smokey Moutain Ntl Park, Blue Ridge Parkway. Cherokee Indian Reservation, Biltmore Estate, Ghost Town in the Sky, Cataloochee Ski Area, Lake Junaluska, Pisgah Natl Forest, railroad scenic tours, Horseback riding, Gem Mining, whitewater rafting, hiking, cycling and exploring the many historical sites, Downtown Waynesville with it's quaint shops and "Villiage" feel, Whew.....too much to list.

We have visited and rented various places in North Carolina in the past. Except for a "very interesting" road to our cabin, this was by far the best place we've ever stayed. The views are wonderful, the ammenities are all you would need, the cabin is in a quiet, secluded top of a mountain setting, and the communication with the owner was great. We will be back, and would recommend Whispering Winds to anyone. As a matter of fact, we have already told our friends about it.

We stayed here for 3 days in early June and we couldn't have been more pleased. Quick and easy to find, yet quiet and secluded. Located just on the outskirts of Maggie Valley and within just a short distance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Cataloochee of the Great Smoky Mountains. If you're looking for the peaceful side of the Great Smoky Mountains, here you go.
