Description of the Waynesville vacation home rental

Beautiful 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home just outside of Waynesville. Game room with pool table, shuffleboard table, large TV with surround sound and more. 2 full kitchens. 4 decks with great views of Cold Mountain and Mt. Pisgah. Quick and easy access to The Smokey Mountains National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, the Casino in Cherokee, Maggie Valley as well as a short drive into Asheville. Great location for family reunions, class reunions, birthday and anniversary celebrations as well as weddings. Can comfortably sleep 14-18. Also has several golf courses close to the property as well as located central to some of the best trout streams in western NC. Guided fly fishing trips are available. Rates are $595.00 per night with discounts for rentals of 3 or more nights.

Area Description

House sits on 5 acres surrounded by several hundred arces of farm land. Very quiet. Waynesville is only a few miles to the west and has several very nice restaurants, antique shops as well as shopping for anything you might need for you mountain stay. There are plenty of hiking trails in both the Pisgah National Forest and The Smokey Mountains National Park, both of which can be reached with only a short drive. There are three golf courses in Waynesville and several more within a 45 minute drive. The area has numerous trout streams and guided fishing trips are easily arranged. Maggie Valley is a short 15 minute drive. There is no shorage of places to visit and things to do within an hours drive in any direction from our home. And of course Asheville is only 20-25 minutes to the east.

Beautiful setting, quiet but close to everything we needed. Had a great time. Kids loved the gameroom. We will come back next year. Our trip to the National Park to see the elk was the highlight of our stay.
