St. Johns River Bass Fishing Georgetown Sunsets
Fishing Guides and River Tours are available for St. Johns River, Big & Little Lake George, and Ocklawaha River. Take full advantage of the beauty and nature St. Johns River has to offer. Dock your own boat or rent a pontoon boat for your river cruise or destination of Salt Springs or Silver Glen, two popular natural springs for swimming and snorkeling.
A refreshing seasonal getaway for winter travelers who simply want to relax, sleep in, play a little golf down the street and take in the awesome sunset views from the balcony or over sized living room windows, which all our guests love. Our condo style apartment is nicely decorated, sparkling clean, and offers, new carpet, tiled floors, new appliances, large bathroom and walk in closet. Also HD TV. Totally private and great for two! Book early for the winter and escape the cold! For those who want to forego the overly crowed beaches but love the water and a laid back, friendly atmosphere, our place is for you. Our resort type riverfront house and apartments are family friendly too. So give our area a try, you won't be disappointed.
Silver Glen Springs and Salt Springs are located off Lake George and are a great day trip by boat. You can also take the oldest operating ferry in Florida across the river just south of us. From there you have a seven mile drive thorugh the Ocala National Forest on a dirt road into the quaint town of Salt Springs (and the Spring itself). Heading south you'll come to Juniper Springs and Run (excellent canoeing and kayaking) and Silver Glen Springs. Being in the Ocala National Forest, you'll also have access to many trails as such as the Florida Trail which, when completed, will extend from the southern tip of Florida into the panhandle. Hiking trails in the Welaka Forest provide an up close way to see nature and allow you access to a secret spring !
Of course, for many fishing from the dock or their boat, watching the stars at night and the breathtaking sunsets will provide all the entertainment desired.

Remarkably Serene Accomodiations

We have rented get-a-way properties for years in many parts of the country. These property owners were remarkably proficient in all areas of meeting our needs. The kitchen is fully equipped which really helped in preparing our meals. The apartment's decor adds to the relaxed atmosphere on the river. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in how guests like to be treated and have integrity in their interactions with those that rent from them. The view of the sunsets are even more breathtaking than we expected and such a delightful sight at the end of each day. It was good to get to know Zonya and Ronnie and felt like we made new friends that we would like to see again in the future. They were generous to supply a couple of items we hadn't brought with us for our fish fry. We caught plenty of fish and enjoyed watching the manatees up close from the dock. This trip was such a happy memory for our 83 year old dad we brought with us because had been wanting to visit the area for years. We all learned some new fishing techniques that we will remember for years to come. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful scenic get-a-way and look forward to planning another trip. Best wishes for continued success to them both...........thanks for everything, Susie and Joe.
Susie and Joe, I must say, the pleasure was all ours indeed! You guys were wonderful.
Heartfelt thanks for the nice review. Nice to know that our hard work has paid off. Very kind of you to take the time to write a review. We look forward to seeing you both again as well. Your new friends, Ronnie and Zonya Williams
Ambasador of Good Will

We spent several days at this location and had a wonderful time. The owners of this property are on site and went out of their way to be sure we had what we needed including the use of their boat slip and some old bay seasoning to cook the crabs we caught off the dock. They also went above and beyond offering tips and advise to ensure we caught fish although luck just wasn't with us that afternoon. All in all it was extremely enjoyable and we will be planning a "guys fishing trip" at a later date.
