Our spacious and open 1 BR Riverfront Balcony Apartment features up close views of the River and Canal. Listen to the soothing water sounds from the balcony and enjoy the beautiful array of sunsets. At night you'll find that star gazing is pleasant pastime. Great photo opportunities for bird lovers! Also, this is a unique location for river and canal fishing. Use the dock for fishing, sunning or to park your boat. Also, boat Rentals, bait and supplies are available next door at Bass World.

Fishing Guides and River Tours are available for St. Johns River, Big & Little Lake George, and Ocklawaha River. Take full advantage of the beauty and nature St. Johns River has to offer. Dock your own boat for a fee or rent a pontoon boat for your river cruise or destination of Salt Springs or Silver Glen, two popular natural springs for swimming and snorkling.

A refreshing seasonal getaway for winter travelers who simply want to relax, sleep in, play a little golf down the street and take in the awesome sunset views from the balcony or oversized living room windows, which all our guests love. Our condo style apartment is nicely decorated, sparkling clean, and offers, new carpet, tiled floors, new appliances, large bathroom and walk in closet. Totally private and great for two! The St. Johns River was Florida's first tourist attraction. Although the steamboats that plied its waters in the 1800s have disappeared, the beauty and mystique of the river remain. Opportunities for recreation abound. St. Johns River and Lake George are known best as the Bass Capital, however, the river offers so much more. Ocala National Forest is across the river, as is the Ocklawaha River, a pristine environment that takes you back in time and also gives you your best chance to see an alligator. Take your boat out and explore, or take a guided nature tour, it is an opportunity not to be missed.

Silver Glen Springs and Salt Springs are located off Lake George and are a great day trip by boat. You can also take the oldest operating ferry in Florida across the river just south of us. From there you have a seven mile drive thorugh the Ocala National Forest on a dirt road into the quaint town of Salt Springs (and the Spring itself). Heading south you'll come to Juniper Springs and Run (excellent canoeing and kayaking) and Silver Glen Springs. Being in the Ocala National Forest, you'll also have access to many trails as such as the Florida Trail which, when completed, will extend from the southern tip of Florida into the panhandle. Hiking trails in the Welaka Forest provide an up close way to see nature and allow you access to a secret spring !

Of course, for many fishing from the dock or their boat, watching the stars at night and the breathtaking sunsets will provide all the entertainment desired.
