Reviews for this vacation cottage rental in Weld, Maine

This is a beautiful little camp with gorgeous views. The owner was very nice and helpful.

clean, had all the appliances;the camp was directly on the lake with a nice beach and fire pit.It was very quiet and pleasant. I enjoyed the setting very much and the landlord did what she could to help.I would suggest a larger screen TV.Also the stairs to the second floor were difficult for me to climb, and only younger people should use them. Therefore,an older couple may want to look closely whether this camp would work for them

Wonderful place to relax
August 27, 2012
The cottage is an excellant place to unwind. There are magnificent mountain views with breath taking sunsets. The town of Weld has the small town rural atmosphere that makes the western mountains of Maine preferrable to the Atlantic coast. There are mpuntain trails close by that will accommadate every level of experience and fitness. Webb Lake is a wonderful fresh water lake with enough varieties of fish to satisfy any fieherman in your group. There is abundant wildlife in the area, Moose, Bear, as well as deer and wild turkeys. This is truly an enjoyable place. I will be returning next year to pick up where I left off this year.
Relaxing vacation with beautiful views

My son, my mother and I stayed here for the first time in July 2011. We hope to make this location an annual vacation spot. Quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained property. We cannot wait to go back this year. We have started a count down! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Linda.

We have stayed with here twice now and hope to go again soon. The stay is amazing. The cottage is comfortable and situated beautifully for amazing views of mountains and sunsets with just steps to the lovely lake! Kayak around and see eagles and loons. Enjoy a fire by the lake's edge and listen to the pines. If you want to relax and enjoy nature, this is the place. Thanks, Linda for sharing your amazing property.
A great vacation, we hiked, swam, fished, and relaxed all week. We traveled the entire area, visited Historical Museums, and went moose-watching. Our son fished all day, while I relaxed in the hammock or floated in the lake. We loved the cottage and built a fire on the beach almost nightly. We didn't even miss the TV. Thank you for a great week away from the city. Deb and the Paris kids.

I do as much of my own maintenance as possible. I am quiet and reserved. We do not welcome loud parties or reunions, but everyone is happiest when shared interests include kayaking, canoeing, ...
