wonderful again this year

November 18, 2012

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at Heather Hill. The renovations are fantastic and the charm and character of the cottage was well maintained. We came with our family of four - 2 kids and 2 adults and this year we brought Grandma along. There was lots to do for every member of the family. Almost every evening we walked down to the beach to enjoy the sunset.

Quaint, wonderful cottage experience

September 18, 2012

This is a 1964 cottage with 2 1/2 bedrooms and a futon on the enclosed front porch. It is located 5 minutes from a private beach and it is a 15 minute walk to Uncle Tim's Bridge & Wellfleet. It is near the National Seashore Salt Pond Visitor's Center & several National Seashore beaches are nearby - we especially enjoyed the history & cliffs of Marconi Beach. Stephanie has lovingly decorated the cottage with guests in mind. It is stocked w/ everything one would need for cooking along w/ games, DVDs, and books. It even has beach toys & canoes for use. We only stayed for a weekend, but we wished that we had longer to enjoy its charm. It is immaculate and Stephanie, Carl, and John live next door to answer any questions that may arise. We slept 6 adults comfortably & we enjoyed playing the provided Cape Cod game on Saturday night. We would definitely consider returning to the property!

Wonderful experience!

This cottage was perfect! The hosts were warm and kind and helpful in providing suggestions for activities and restaurants, and attending to any needs we had there. A lovely, well-equipped cottage made our stay a terrific one. A short walk to the beach on the Cape side was a bonus. We would return again and again....

This house was great, much larger than it appears in the pictures. Easy walk to the beach and very convenient for the things we wanted to do.

Dear Carl, Steph & John, We are thoroughly enjoying our 12 day stay at your cottage! This location is perfect for us as we love Wellfleet, and being able to walk to the beach. Thank you for sharing your space and for making us feel so welcome. Thanks also for sharing your tools for our bicycle repair and for the tarp to cover our bikes and protect them from the rain. We love the porch, deck, huge yard and the outdoor shower. Thank you for your hospitality!

JAZZ at Duck Creek Tavern Friday night (Carl is an artist on the keys!). We will never forget all of the above and the incredibly well-equipped kitchen, the comfy beds and hammocks, frequent couch naps and discovering the pencil sharpener collection. ..
