Description of the Wellfleet vacation home rental

This upscale new home is located in a quiet, child-friendly neighborhood great for evening strolls to watch an amazing sunset or walk to several private bay beaches near Indian Neck beach in Wellfleet Harbor.

You will instantly feel at home and relaxed in our beach home property. It rest on a quiet 1 acre dead-end lot. Sit outside on the wrap around porch and feel the cool ocean breeze after a full day of outdoor activities on outer Cape Cod. The interior first floor has an open airy design with a huge master bedroom (queen bed) and a private master bathroom that has a walk out deck. French doors lead to a family room to offer you a quiet place to work, write a book or just get away for some quiet time. The second floor offers 2 bedrooms. Room #1 has a queen and 1 twin bed. Room #2, fondly called The Dorm; has 2 full and 2 twin beds and 1 full bath to accommodate guests. Comforts include 3 full baths, gas fireplace, ceiling fans, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, high-speed cable & Internet, DVD, stereo, and a wrap around porch that looks at an organic herb and vegetable garden that is available to our guest during their stay in our home.

Wellfleet has 22 wonderful art galleries, great restaurants and shopping. Cape Cod National Seashore, bikeways, Great Island, several fresh water ponds and the Audubon Society offer the best in natural outdoor activity.

Area Information

From clam digging to wind surfing, the beach life may relax you so much you don't want to go anywhere else, but Wellfleet is full of wonderful art galleries, restaurants, kayaking, fishing and shopping. Cape Cod National Seashore, bikeways, Great Island and the Audubon Society offer the best in natural outdoor activity. Just a short drive will take you to the fun and funky Provincetown, or to golf courses, whale watches, a huge flea market and one of the last remaining drive-in movie theaters.

Enjoyed the week

Great place to stay. Close to beach, town, nice view of marsh. House had lovely living area and all other amenities we were looking for: two full baths, washer, dryer, dishwasher, outdoor shower plenty of beach equipment. A wonderful place for family reunion.

Beautiful Vacation Home

Our two families loved the stay at this spacious, comfortable and super clean home. Deborah, the owner, was lovely to deal with and passed on great and helpful information. My 2 little boys loved the hammock and the yard, and we enjoyed the wrap around porch and back deck. Felt removed-enough and central all at the same time. We slept 4 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 small boys comfortably and there was still room to sleep more if needed in an extra twin bed and a pull out sofa -- never felt like we were in each others way. Many beaches near by. A great location.

Fantastic vacation home in Wellfleet

Our family of three stayed here for one week and had an absolutely fantastic time. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean and feels just like home. It is close to all our favourite beaches on the National seashore and an easy walk or bike ride to Wellfleet Bay. Only a few minutes to Wellfleet Center so it's easy to have a lovely dinner at one of the town's restaurants after a day at the beach or biking on the rail trail. Or even better, it's easy to buy fresh produce and seafood from a local grocer in town and make a gourmet meal in the kitchen. The owner is absolutely delightful. We had an excellent time and will definitely return.

A Great Week

The house and the town were all we could have asked for. The house was clean, spacious, and "lived well." I loved having porches on three sides so I could enjoy/avoid the sun. It was near everything, and at the same time, it was away from everything. I heartily recommend it.

We had a great time in Wellfleet and loved the house we stayed in. It was roomy, comfortable had all we needed and more. Morning coffee on the sunny porch and walks to and around the bay right from the house were delightful. Kids could play outside with no worries for their safety. We would definitely rent this place and from this owner again
